A misconception – Kalki Avatar – goes out to kill all evil doers

October 31, 2008

Paarsurrey says:

It is a common misconception that the personage to come at end of times would restore the lost honour of those religions by going on a killing spree. The DivingGuides sent by GodAllahParmasherYHWh only to establish peace. It is the war-mongers who misinterpret it otherwise.

Mistake of Judaism:

They thought that Moshiach would come and fight with the enemies of Judaism to return them the lost rule of Davids and Solomon. Moshiach did come in the form of JesusChrist; the Jews did not accept him. Jesus pleaded so much but they opposed him tooth and nail; they said they would accept a DivineGuide of their Mullah’s (Ribbi’s) liking.

Mistake of Muslims:

Muslims still belive that they would believe in IssaMessiah who will kill their opponents with sword and this way establish their rule in the world. The PromisedMessiah/ImamMahdi has come but they have not accepted him. They have done as did the Jews; and this a prephcy of Muahammad.

The KalkiAvatar or Krishnas’ Seond Coming says:

Let it be known that most Muslims and Christians believe that Jesus (on whom be peace) went alive to the heavens; both these people have believed for a long time that Jesus (on whom be peace) is still alive in the heavens, and will sometime in the latter days come down to the earth.

The difference in their views, i.e. the view of the followers of Islam and that of the Christians, is only this, that the Christians believe that Jesus (on whom be peace) died on the Cross, was resurrected, and went to the heavens in his earthly body, seated himself on the right hand of his Father, and will come to the earth in the latter days for judgment; they also say that the Creator and the Master of the world is this Jesus the Messiah and no one else; he it is who, in the latter days of the world, will descend to the earth with a glorious descent to award punishment and reward; then, all who will not believe in him or his mother as God, will be hauled up and thrown into hell, where weeping and wailing will be their lot.

But the aforesaid sects of Muslims say that Jesus (on whom be peace) was not crucified, nor did he die on the Cross; on the other hand, when the Jews arrested him in order to crucify him an angel of God took him away to the heavens in his earthly body, and he is still alive in the heavens – which, they say, is the second heaven where is also the prophet Yahya, i.e. John.

Muslims, moreover, also say that Jesus (on whom be peace) is an eminent prophet of God, but not God, nor the son of God, and, they believe that he will in the latter days descend to the earth, near the Minaret of Damascus or near some other place, supported on the shoulders of two angels, and that he and Imam Muhammad, the Mahdi, who will be already in the world, and who will be a Fatimite, will kill all the non-Muslims, not leaving anyone alive except those who will forthwith and without any delay become Muslims.

In short, the real object of the descent of Jesus (on whom be peace) to the earth, as stated by Muslim sects known as Ahl-i-Sunnat or Ahl-i-Hadith called Wahabis by the common people – is that, like the Mahadev of the Hindus, he should destroy the whole world; that he should first threaten the people to become Muslims and then, if they persist in disbelief, massacre them all with the sword; they moreover say that he is alive in the heavens in his earthly body, so that, when Muslim powers become weak, he will come down and kill the non-Muslims or coerce them on pain of death to become Muslims.

Regarding the Christians especially, the divines of the aforesaid sects state that when Jesus (on whom be peace) comes down from the heavens he will break all the Crosses in the world, do many a cruel deed with the sword, and inundate the world with blood. And, just as I have stated, these people, i.e. the Ahl-i-Hadith etc. from among the Muslims, are enthusiastic about their belief that a short time before the coming down of the Messiah there will appear an Imam from the Bani Fatima whose name will be Muhammad, the Mahdi.

He it is who will be Khalifa and King of the time, and as he will belong to the Koraish, his real object will be to kill all non-Muslims except those who readily recite the Kalima. Jesus (on whom be peace) will come down in order to help him in his work; and although Jesus himself (on whom be peace) will be a Mahdi – nay, a greater Mahdi – yet, because it is essential that the Khalifa of the time should be a Koraish, Jesus (on whom be peace) will not be the Khalifa of the time; the Khalifa of the time will be that same Muhammad, the Mahdi.

Muslims say that these two together will fill the earth with the blood of man, and they will shed more blood than has ever been shed before in the history of the world.

No sooner will they appear than they will start this bloody campaign; they will neither preach nor plead, nor show any sign. And they also say that although Jesus (on whom be peace) will be like an adviser or a lieutenant of Imam Muhammad, the Mahdi, and although the reins of power will be in the hands of the Mahdi only, Jesus (on whom be peace) will instigate Hazrat Imam Muhammad, the Mahdi, to massacre the whole world and will advise him to adopt extreme measures, i.e. he will make amends for the humane teaching which he had given to the world before, namely, ‘not to resist evil,’ and, being struck on one cheek, ‘to turn the other cheek also.’

True Mukti/salvation: cannot be different for Hindus, Buddhist, Christians & Muslims

October 31, 2008

Paarsurrey says:

By peeling off the outer mythical shell of different denominations of the Revealed Relgions of the world; one gets the real faith brought by ffice:smarttags” />Krishna, Buddha, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad; which is the same for every human being.

If one is suffering physically for a disease; one gets the same treatment irrespective of which country one lives in. The Moral and Spiritual diseases; the sinful acts, in my opinion, must have logically the same ultimate treatment wherever one lives.

Christ/Krishna Second Coming says:

Epilogue: What is True Salvation?

Before concluding this book (i.e. Fountain of Christianity),
I feel that I should write
something about the nature of true salvation, because salvation
is the ultimate objective which followers of every
religion hope to attain.

But, unfortunately, most people
remain unaware and unmindful of the true meaning of
salvation. To the Christians, salvation means deliverance
from the accountability of sin, but this cannot be its true
meaning, for it is quite possible that a person may not be
guilty of committing fornication, nor of theft, nor of bearing
false witness, nor of murder, nor of committing any
other sin which he knows of, and yet he might be deprived
of the benefits of salvation.

Salvation, in fact, is the
abiding peace and happiness which man, by his very nature,
hungers and thirsts for, and which is achieved
through personal love and recognition of God, and
through a perfect relationship with Him—a relationship in
which the fire of love is ablaze on both sides.

But people very often try to attain this happiness through
other means which only serve to increase their pain and
misery in the long run. Most people tend to seek eternal
happiness in the carnal pleasures of the world. They indulge
day and night in drinking and fulfilling their sensual
desires, and end up suffering from all kinds of fatal diseases.
They succumb to trauma, paralysis, Parkinson’s

disease, kuzzaz,20 intestinal ulcer, ulcer of the liver, or
they die as a consequence of shameful diseases such as
syphilis and gonorrhoea.

Since their energies have been
prematurely sapped, they fail to complete their natural
lifespan, and it ultimately dawns upon them that things
which they thought would bring them joy and contentment
had, in fact, brought about their ruin.

Some others
think that happiness lies in worldly prestige, rank and office;
they, too, remain unaware of the real object of their
life and die with regret. Then there are those who keep
accumulating wealth in the hope that it will bring them
true happiness. But ultimately they also have to leave behind
all their accumulated wealth, and have to drink the
cup of death in great regret and sorrow.

Holy Quran and authentic Ahadith in proof of Jesus’ survival , death on Cross

October 31, 2008

Paarsurrey says:

WordPress.com has informed me that someone referred my blog via Search Engine Terms and desired of me to explain “sura 4:157”. The Promised Messiah 1835-1908 or Christ Second Coming has explained it:

Holy Quran (sura 4:157/158) and authentic Ahadith in proof
of Jesus’ survival death on Cross

The Promised Messiah /Imam Mahdi 1835-1908 says:

The arguments which I am now going to set out, might seem to be useless so far as they are meant for Christians, for these people are not bound by what the Holy Quran or the Hadith say on this question; but I state them because I wish Christians to know of a miracle of our Holy Quran and Holy Prophet; to tell them that the truth which has been discovered after hundreds of years has already been proclaimed by our Holy Prophet and Holy Quran. Accordingly, I set down some of it below.

Almighty God says in the Holy Quran: The Jews neither murdered Jesus, not did they kill him on the Cross; no, they only suspected that Jesus had died on the Cross; they did not have proof which could have convinced and satisfied them that Jesus (on whom be peace) had really died on the Cross.

In these verses Almighty God states that although it is true that Jesus was apparently placed on the Cross, and that they were determined to kill him; yet, it is wrong for Jews and Christians to suppose that Jesus did really die on the Cross. No, God created circumstances which saved Jesus from death on the Cross. Now, if one were just, one must say that what the Holy Quran had said against Jews and Christians turned out ultimately to be true. Investigations of a very high standard to-day have proved that Jesus had really been saved from death on the Cross.

A study of the records shows that the Jews have never been able to reply to the question: How was it that Jesus died within two or three hours when his bones were not broken?

This has led the Jews to put in another plea — that they killed Jesus by the sword, whereas the ancient history of the Jews does not show that Jesus was killed by the sword. The majesty and power of the Divine Being made it dark in order that Jesus might be saved. There was an earthquake. Pilate’s wife saw a vision. The Sabbath night was about to fall, when it was improper to let a crucified body remain on the Cross.

The magistrate, because of the terrible dream, became disposed towards the release of Jesus. All this was brought about simultaneously by God to save Jesus. Jesus himself was made to go into a swoon that he might be taken for dead. Through terrible signs like the earthquake, etc. there were produced in the Jews cowardice, and fear, and also fear of heavenly punishment. There was also the fear lest the corpses should remain on their crosses during the Sabbath night.

Again, the Jews, seeing Jesus in a swoon, thought that he was dead. It was dark. And there was an earthquake and great excitement. They also became anxious about their homes — how must the children be feeling in that darkness and earthquake? There was also a terror in their hearts that if this man was a liar and a Kafir, as they thought he was, why were mighty signs manifested at the moment of his suffering — signs which had not been manifested before. They were so upset that they no longer were in a position to satisfy themselves whether Jesus had really died, or what exactly his condition was.

What had come about, however, was a Divine Design to save Jesus. This is hinted at in the verse… i.e., the Jews did not kill Jesus — God made them believe that they had killed him. This circumstance encourages the righteous to place great trust in God, that God can save His servants as He pleases.

And the Holy Quran contains also the verse: His name shall be the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, honoured in this world and in the hereafter, and of those who are granted nearness to God. This means that not only here will Jesus have honour and eminence, and enjoy a greatness in the sight of ordinary people; but also in the hereafter. Now, it is evident that Jesus was not honoured in the land of Herod and Pilate. He was, on the contrary, disgraced.

The suggestion that he would be honoured during his second coming to this earth is baseless. It is against the divine books and the eternal divine law of nature. There is moreover no proof of it. The truth, however, is that as Jesus, having had his release from those accursed people, came to the land of the Punjab and honoured it with his visit, God gave him great eminence — here he met the ten lost tribes of Israel. It seems that most of these Israelites had adopted Buddhism and some had degenerated into idolatry of a very low kind. But with the coming here of Jesus, most of them returned to the right path; and as there was an exhortation in the teaching of Jesus to believe in the coming Prophet, the ten tribes who came to be known in this land as Afghans and Kashmiris ultimately all became Muslims.

So Jesus came with great honour to this land. There has been discovered recently a coin in this very land of the Punjab, on which is inscribed the name of Jesus (on whom be peace) in Pali characters. This coin belongs to the time of Jesus. This shows that Jesus came to this land and received kingly honour; the coin must have been issued by a king who had become a follower of Jesus.

Another coin has been found with the figure of an Israelite. It seems that this too is the figure of Jesus. The Holy Quran also has a verse which says that Jesus was blessed by God wherever he went… So these coins show that he received great honour from God, and that he did not die until he had kingly honour.

Likewise the Holy Quran contains the verse: O Jesus! I shall clear thee of these charges; I shall prove thy innocence and shall remove the accusations brought against thee by Jews and Christians.

A great prophecy this, which means that the Jews alleged that Jesus, having been crucified, became (God forbid) accursed, and thus forfeited the love of God, that Jesus’ heart, as the word ‘curse’ necessitates, turned away from God; that is, he came to hate Him. His heart became enveloped by a thick veil of darkness. It came to love evil and to shun good. It broke away from God and came under the sway of Satan. There was enmity between him and God! The same accusation — that he was accursed — was brought by Christians, but Christians, in addition, foolishly combine two contrary and opposite positions; they say Jesus was the Son of God, but they also call him accursed, and what is more, they admit that one who is accursed is the Son of Darkness and the Devil or is the Devil himself.

So, these were the dirty charges brought against Jesus; the prophecy contained in the Quran however points out that there was to be a time when God would clear Jesus of these charges. This is that time.

The innocence of Jesus has no doubt become established in the sight of thoughtful persons by the evidence of our Holy Prophet, for he, as well as the Holy Quran, have testified that the charges brought against Jesus (on whom be peace) are all unfounded. But this evidence was a little too subtle and too much in the nature of an argument to carry conviction with ordinary people.

Divine justice, therefore, required that just as the crucifixion of Jesus was a visible and well-known event, so should his purity become demonstrated in a manner visible to all and the same has come to pass. The innocence of Jesus is founded not on mere argument but has become demonstrated, in the most palpable way. For hundreds of thousands of people have, with their physical eyes, seen that the tomb of Jesus (on whom be peace) exists in Srinagar, in Kashmir.

Just as he was crucified at Golgotha, i.e., at the place of sri, so has his tomb been found at the place of sri i.e., Srinagar. The word sri occurring in the names of both places is very striking indeed. The place where Jesus was crucified was called Gilgit or sri, and the place where in the latter part of the nineteenth century the tomb of Jesus has been discovered is also called Gilgit, or sri. It appears that the place called Gilgit, in Kashmir, suggests the word sri.

This town was probably founded in the time of Jesus, and as a local memorial to the event of the Cross it was named Gilgit, i.e., sri; like Lhasa, which means the ‘City of one worthy of worship’; this word is of Hebrew origin, and suggests the city founded in the time of Jesus.

Reliable reports in the Hadith show that the Holy Prophet said that Jesus was 125 years of age. Besides, all the sects of Islam believe that Jesus had two unique things about him — things which are not to be found in any other prophet, namely: (1) he lived to a full old age, i.e., to 125 years; (2) he travelled in many parts of the world and was therefore called the ‘travelling prophet’.

It is evident that if he had been raised to the skies when he was only 33 years old the report of ‘125 years’ could not have been true, nor could he have travelled so much while he was only thirty-three. Not only are these reports found in the reliable Books of Hadith. They have been so well-known among all the Muslim sects that it is difficult to think of anything which has been more widely known among them.

Kanz-ul-Ummal (Volume 2) which is a comprehensive Book of Hadith, has on page 34 a Hadith from Abu Huraira: God directed Jesus (on whom be peace) ‘0 Jesus! Move from one place to another’ — go from one country to another lest thou shouldst be recognised and persecuted.

Again, in the same Book, on the report of Jabar, there is the Hadith1 Jesus always used to travel; he went from one country to another, and at nightfall wherever he was he used to eat the vegetation of the jungle and to drink pure water.

Again, in the same book, there is a report from Abdullah bin Umar:2 The Holy Prophet declared that the most favoured in the sight of God are the poor. Asked, what was meant by the poor? Were they the people who, like Jesus the Messiah, fled from their country with their faith?

Jesus tempted by Satan – SecondComing 1835-1908 explains the phenomenon

October 30, 2008

Paarsurrey says:

WordPress.com has informed me that someone referred my blog via Search Engine Terms and desired of me to “explain matthew 4:1?” Personally I don’t know anything about it. I have however found that The Promised Messiah 1835-1908 or Christ Second Coming has explained it in very detail:

Thus says Second Coming 1835-1908:

God Almighty says that
as long as man’s self is not fully cleansed and purified,
it is possible for him to experience satanic inspirations,
and he is described as:
21
21 [They descend] on every great liar and sinner.
—Al-Shu‘ara’, 26: 223 [Publishers]

The Need for the Imam
22

But the righteous are immediately informed about any
satanic suggestion. Unfortunately, Christian clerics,
while commenting on the incident whereby Jesus was
tempted by the devil,22 have dared to suggest that it
was not something which actually happened, and
which the world could see and the Jews could witness,
but was rather a satanic inspiration which he received
and rejected three times.

One shivers to hear such an
interpretation of the New Testament. Messiahas and
satanic inspiration, indeed! Even if we don’t believe
this conversation to be a satanic inspiration, and
imagine that Satan did really assume bodily form and
met Jesusas, the following objection would arise: If it
were indeed true that Satan—the old serpent—really
revealed himself in a corporeal form and took his
stand near the sacred synagogue of the Jews, around
which hundreds of people lived, then thousands of
people must have gathered to see him.

In fact Jesus(as)
himself ought to have summoned the Jews and shown
them the Satan whose very existence was denied by a
number of their sects. And this in itself would be considered
a sign for the Messiahas, and many a people
would have been rightly guided. Even the highranking
officials of the Roman Empire would have
22 Matthew, 4:8-9 [Publishers]

Darurat-ul-Imam
23

believed in Jesus when they beheld Satan and saw
him flying. But nothing of the kind happened. This
lends credence to the belief that this was a kind of
spiritual conversation, which, in other words, can be
called satanic inspiration. However, it reminds me
that in Jewish literature many mischievous persons
have been named Satan.

In keeping with this usage,
the Messiahas also gave the name of ‘Satan’23 to an
honourable disciple of his, who was given the keys of
heaven only a few verses before. So, it is also possible
that some Jewish ‘Satan’ might have come to
Jesusas to mock and ridicule him.
And Jesus (as) might
have called him ‘Satan’, just as he had called Peter,
‘Satan’. The Jews were given to such mischief, and it
is a peculiar characteristic of the Jews to pose such
questions. Furthermore, it is also possible that this
story is only a myth, recorded deliberately or mistakenly,
for these gospels are not the gospels of the
Messiahas, nor have they ever been sanctified by him
as such.

On the contrary, they have been written by
disciples or other people, according to their own perception
and understanding. And this is why they
differ from one another. We can, therefore, say that
some of the writers could have been mistaken with
23 Mathew, 16:23 [Publishers]

The Need for the Imam
24

regard to this incident; just as some of the evangelists
were mistaken in thinking that the Messiahas had died
on the cross.24 Such errors were ingrained in the very
nature of the disciples, for the Gospels inform us that
mentally they were not so perceptive.

The Messiah (as)
himself testifies that they were weak in intelligence,
insight and ability. In any case, the fact is that no satanic
thought can come to stay in the hearts of the pure.
If any fleeting thought does ever come close to their
hearts, it is immediately dispelled and put away and
their clean slate remains spotless and clean.

In the
Holy Quran, such a doubt, which resembles a drab and
half-baked thought, is called Ta’if . In Arabic
lexicon it is also known as Ta’if , Tauf , Tayyif
and Taif . A fleeting doubt of this kind has
very little relationship with heart, in fact it has nothing
at all to do with it.

In fact such a doubt is like the faint
shadow of a distant tree. And it is possible that the accursed
Satan might have wanted to instil such a doubt
in Jesus’sas heart, and that Jesusas, by his prophetic
power, managed to dispel it.

The reason why I have
24 From among many Christian Gospels, one Gospel is still in
their possession in which it is written that Jesusas did not die on
the cross. This statement is correct, for Marhami ‘Isa [Jesus’
Ointment], which has been mentioned by hundreds of physicians,
bears it out. [Author]
Publishers]

Darurat-ul-Imam
25

had to mention all this is because this story does not
only figure in the Gospels, but is also to be found in
authentic Hadith. For instance, it is written:
That is ‘Muhammad bin Imran Sairfi reports
from Hasan bin Aleel Anzi, and he from Abbas
bin Abdul Wahid, and he from Muhammad bin
Amr, and he from Muhammad bin Manadhir,
and he from Sufyan bin Aynah, and he from
Amr bin Dinar, and he from Taus, and he from
Abu Huraira that Satan came to Jesusas and
said: ‘Dost thou not think that thou art truthful?’
He said: ‘Why not?’ Satan said: ‘If this is true,
climb up this mountain, and throw yourself
down.’ Jesus (as) said: ‘Woe to thee, dost thou not
know that God has said: Do not try Me by thy
own death, for I do what I will.’

It is obvious that Satan must have come to him, just
as Gabriel comes to the Messengers. Gabriel does not
come as people do, on a train or on a hired horse,
wearing a turban and wrapped in a chador. Rather he

The Need for the Imam
26

comes as if from the other world. Moreover, how can
Satan, who is so wretched, dare to come openly like a
man? In view of this discussion one can’t help accepting
the stand taken by Draper. But this much can be
said that Jesusas with his prophetic power and light of
truth never allowed any satanic inspiration to come
anywhere near him. Instead, he immediately set about
rejecting and repudiating it.

And just as darkness cannot
stand up against light, in the same way Satan could
not stand up against Jesusas and fled. This indeed is the
correct meaning of the verse:
25
Satan can only become dominant over those who succumb
to his temptations and inspirations. But those
who strike Satan from a distance with the arrow of
light, and smite him in the face with the lash of rebuke,
and refuse to submit to any of his nonsense, are exempt
from his sway.

But since God Almighty wants
these people to see the kingdom of heaven and earth,
and Satan belongs to the kingdom of the earth, therefore,
in order to attain full knowledge of the creation,
they must have a glimpse of the face of this bizarre
creature known as Satan and hear his speech. But this
25 Surely, thou shalt have no power over My servants.—Al-
Hijr, 15:43 [Publishers]

Darurat-ul-Imam
27

does not in any way tarnish their purity and chastity.
The Satan, in keeping with his age-old method of planting
doubts, mischievously made a request to Jesusas,
which his pious nature spontaneously rejected and refused
to accept. This did not in any way detract him
from his lofty station. Do not villains sometimes speak
in the presence of kings? It was thus, in spiritual terms,
that Satan put his word into his heart.
Jesus (as )did not
accept this satanic inspiration and simply rejected it.
This was indeed something praiseworthy. To criticise
it is a folly and amounts to ignorance of spiritual philosophy.
Not every saint or sufi can repel and expose
the filth of satanic suggestion as Jesusas did with the
whip of his light.

Sayyid Abdul Qadir Jilanira26 says, ”I
too received a satanic inspiration once. Satan said: ‘O
Abdul Qadir! all your prayers are accepted. From now
on whatsoever is forbidden to others is lawful to you.
You are even exempt from obligatory prayers. Do
whatever you please.’ At this, I said, ‘Be off O Satan!
how can something that was not permissible for the
Holy Prophet (sa) be permissible for me!’ After this, Satan
disappeared from my sight along with his golden
throne.”

Now, when even a man of God and a unique
human like Abdul Qadirra received a satanic inspira-

tion, how can ordinary humans, who have not yet fully
accomplished their spiritual journey, be secure against
it, for—unlike Sayyid Abdul Qadirra and Jesusas—they
lack the spiritual eyes with which to recognize satanic
inspirations.

Saint Issa/Jesus in Tibet

October 30, 2008

,In 1922, Swami Abhedananda, a Hindu monk and disciple of Sri Ramakrishna, journeyed to Ladakh in hopes of exposing Notovitch as a fraud, once and for all.

Abedananda arrived at Himis and, upon questioning the head lama about Issa, was shown a manuscript which he recorded in his travel notes, lo and behold, discovered a manuscript of two hundred twenty-four verses virtually identical to the Notovitch text at the Himis monastery.

Abhedananda was thus convinced of the authenticity of the Issa legend.

The Unknown Life of Christ: book written in 1894 by Nicolas Notovitch

In 1894 Nicolas Notovitch published a book called The Unknown Life of Christ. He was a Russian doctor who journeyed extensively throughout Afghanistan, India, and Tibet.

Notovitch journeyed through the lovely passes of Bolan, over the Punjab, down into the arid rocky land of Ladak, and into the majestic Vale of Kashmir of the Himalayas.

During one of his jouneys he was visiting Leh, the capital of Ladak, near where the buddhist convent Himis is. He had an accident that resulted in his leg being broken. This gave him the unscheduled opportunity to stay awhile at the Himis convent.

Notovitch learned, while he was there, that there existed ancient records of the life of Jesus Christ. In the course of his visit at the great convent, he located a Tibetan translation of the legend and carefully noted in his carnet de voyage over two hundred verses from the curious document known as “The Life of St. Issa.”

He was shown two large yellowed volumes containing the biography of St. Issa. Notovitch enlisted a member of his party to translate the Tibetan volumes while he carefully noted each verse in the back pages of his journal.

When he returned to the western world there was much controversy as to the authenticity of the document. He was accused of creating a hoax and was ridiculed as an imposter. In his defense he encouraged a scientific expedition to prove the original tibetan documents existed.

What is meant by India Divine?

October 30, 2008

It is said India is divine.

What is exactly meant meant when they say India is divine?

Do they mean by this that China or Japan or Australia or Canada are not divine? I cannot accept that as it seems to be a narrow and biased understanding not worthy of the Indians- a great people among comity of nations. The concept therefore needs to be corrected and truthfully thrashed out .

India no doubt has a right to be divine though not more and not less as do others must have a right to divinity. This should be understood by the Indian with a clarity of mind and soul. India should be divine in the same sense as should be others regions of the world .

Is religion or spirituality a function of time or place? I don’t think so. Soembody please explain if their concept differs with me. Is it given to understand by indiadivine.org only ? Or they meant that if others are divine; India is not without divinity. Or India is not less divine than other regions of the world?

India must have its part in the divinity of the rest of the world. All these things need clarity of thought, my friends and borthers in humanity would agree with me.

If laws of the natural and phycisal realms are the same everywhere on globe, why these should differ in the moral and spiritual realms?

If an Indian travels and goes to Americas or England; does his divinity diminishes with his journey to other places or when he settles down there for good?

These and lot of other questions do usher in in one’s mind. Please make us wise with your input here.

Thanks

The Ten Tribes of Israel Who Came to Kashmir

October 29, 2008

The Ten Tribes of Israel Who Came to Kashmir
Courtesy http://moshiach.com/tribes/kashmir.html

Leaving Afghanistan and Pakistan where the Pathans live, when one goes east, it is the State of Kashmir in northern part of India which is west of Nepal. Kashmir consists of a very wide and beautiful valley, surrounded by tall mountains and I think it is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

There are 5 to 7 million people there. Generally speaking, they have clearer complexions and are different from the other citizens of India. An Interesting tradition is passed down among the Kashmir people regarding their ancestry from the Lost Tribes of Israel. This tradition is supported by extensive literature written by both the people of Kashmir and other scholars.

In Kashmir, various places are called with Israeli names, like Har Nevo, Beit Peor, Pisga, Heshubon. These are all the names in the land of the Ten Tribes of Israel. The same thing is true in the names of people, male names, female names, and names of village.

The people in Kashmir perform a feast called Pasca in Spring, when they adjust the difference of days between the lunar calendar and solar calendar and the way of this adjustment is the same as Jewish. Several books are published on this. The Udu language which is used in Kashmir includes many words of Hebrew.

Most of the people of Kashmir are Muslims. In spite of it, they are sympathetic towards Jews and Israel. It is evident that their origin has also led to their interest in the people of Israel.

The history of the Kashmiris is shrouded in mystery as is the history of other people in that region. Most Kashmir researchers are of the opinion that many inhabitants of Kashmir are descendants of the Lost Tribes who were exiled in 722 BCE. They wandered along the Silk Road into the countries of the East, Persia and Afghanistan until they reached the Kashmir valley and settled there.

Others say the wanderings began approximately 300 years later. The wanderers settled in Kashmir, kept their traditions until they were forced to convert to Islam when the spread of Islam reached the valley. The priest Kitro in his book, the General History of the Mughal Empire, said that the Kashmir people are the descendants of the Israelites.

The traveling Arab historian El Bironi in the 12th century wrote, “In the past, permission to enter Kashmir was given only to Jews.”

The priest Monstrat said that in the time of Vasco da Gama in the 15th century, “all the inhabitants of this area who have been living here since ancient times can trace their ancestry, according to their race and customs, to the ancient Israelites. Their features, their general physical appearance, their clothing, their ways of conducting business, all show that they are similar to the ancient Israelites.”

Names like Israelites in Kashmir

Recently Mr. Ikbal Chapri, the owner of a houseboat called Haifa (the same name as a big city in Israel) in Srinagar, Kashmir, has written about this topic in the local newspapers.

His article was about the names of the tribes and places of Kashmir which are exactly Hebrew. I have a copy of two pages of the list. For example, one of the tribes of Kashmir is called Asheriya which is Asher, the tribe of Dand is Dan, Gadha is Gad, Lavi is Levi. The Tribe of Shaul is the Hebrew name of King Saul. Musa is Moses, Suliamanish is Solomon. And you also have the tribe of Israel, the tribe of Abri which is the tribe of Hebrew, and the tribe of Kahana which is the word for Jewish priest.
There are also 50-75 names of places in Kashmir which are in fact the Hebrew names that ancient Israelites were very familiar with.

There is a place called Samaryah which is Samaria. Mamre is Mamre, Pishgah is Pisgah, Nabudaal is Mt. Nevo, Bushan is Bashan, Gilgit is Gilgal, Heshba is Heshbon, Amunah is Amon, Gochan is Goshen, Median-pura is Midian, and Guzana is Gozan which is a place name in Assyria and the very place where the Ten Tribes of Israel were deported.

The name Israel is very common among them as it is among the Pathans, and this name is never used among the Muslims. They also light a candle for the Sabbath, have sidelocks, beards, and emblem or design of the Shield of David.

In an area which is on the border of Pakistan, called Yusmarg (Handwara), there lives a group which to this very day calls itself B’nei Israel meaning children of Israel. Many of the inhabitants of Kashmir say that this is the ancient name of all the people of Kashmir.

In Kashmir there is a strange legend which says that Jesus did not die on the cross but in his search for the Ten Tribes reached the Kashmir valley and lived there until his death. They even point to his grave in Kashmir.

This is very much like a legend I have heard somewhere in Japan before. Yes, Herai village (the present name is Shingou village) in Aomori prefecture, where there is also the legend that Jesus came to Japan and died there. They even point to his grave in Herai. It seems that sometimes the legend of coming of Jesus and his tomb is born where the Ten Tribes are said to come.

There is another strange tradition of a small community next to the Wallar Link who point out the grave of Moses. There is yet another tradition in connection with King Solomon according to which even King Solomon reached the Kashmir Valley and through his wisdom aided the people of Kashmir by successfully regulating the Jalum river. This tradition is also connected to a place called Solomon’s throne which is situated above the capital of Kashmir, Srinagar. Isn’t it strange and fascinating that there are historical and even folkloristic tales of ancient Israeli heroes in these strange and exotic places?

These also resemble legends in Japan. There is the grave of Moses in Mt. Houdatsu, Ishikawa prefecture, and a legend says that many secret treasures of Solomon are kept in Mt. Tsurugi in Shikoku, Japan.

The two primary historians of Kashmir, Mulla Nadiri, who wrote The History of Kashmir and Mulla Ahmad who wrote Events of Kashmir have established without a trace of doubt that the origins of the Kashmiri people are to be found in the people of Israel.

Kashmiri language had sprouted from the Hebrew language

October 29, 2008

• Kashmiri language had sprouted from the Hebrew language

Late Professor Hajini in his Maqalaat has emphasised that in the Kashmiri language there are dozen of Hebrew words used in daily conversation even up to the present times. Late Abdul Ahad Azad was definite in declaring that the Kashmiri language had sprouted from the Hebrew language. The same opinion is held by other scholars such as Nazim the author of Nigaristan-i-Kashmir, late Bashir Ahmed editor Humayun and late Khwaja Hassan Nizami.

• The Jewish Settlements

The Jews, after having settled in Kashmir found many villages and towns and some of these exist even at present. The Jewish immigration into Kashmir continued for many centuries and they went on adopting local religious traditions and customs. A stage came, when they stopped such infiltration and they would allow only one or two Jews, to enter the valley every year.
• The Jewish Traits

Many scholars have pointed out that the Kashmiris prepare their graves on the model of the Jewish tombs. Such a grave is called Mosai Qabr and its directed from east to west. The Gujjars in Kashmir, who are Muslims, term themselves as Bani-Israel. Their dress, as well as fashion of their hair is peculiarity of Jewish style.
