“Jesus in India”: Introducing the book

The main points of the book “Jesus in India” by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908, the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi are given below:

1. Jesus did not die on the Cross; he survived a cursed death on it.
2. Jesus was treated for his injuries inflicted on him on the Cross in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea.
3. When Jesus’ injuries on the Cross were healed to the extent he could make a journey; he came out of the tomb and he met his disciples secretly to tell them that he survived and is the same person with the same body he had before he was put on the Cross.
4. Then he went to Galilee; he did not and could not ascend to heavens; instead he secretly going up the hill went towards India; along with his mother Mary.
5. Jesus traveled to India in search of and to meet the ten lost tribes of house of Israel who were settled in different parts of India.
6. The book provided the root map of Jesus travel to India.
7. Jesus visited different part of India and ultimately settled in Kashmir, India.
8. He died a natural and physical death in India; and his grave is still found at Mohalla Khanyar, Srinagar, Kashmir, India.
9. Jesus is not to come again literally and physically and his symbolic Second Coming has been fulfilled in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908.
10. I give below the headings of the chapter of the book:

Introduction
Chapter 1
• Evidence from the Gospels

I have given following comments on the “Triangulations” blog on the topic “Heavenly Soul Bank & Right Belief”:

I would like to quote here on “soul” from Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908, The Promised Messiah/Imam Mahdi:

“It is absolutely true that the soul is a fine light developed inside the body and which is nurtured in the womb. To begin with it is hidden and imperceptible and later it is made manifest. From the very beginning its essence is present in the sperm. It is related to the sperm in a mysterious manner by the design and command and will of God. It is a bright and illumined quality of the sperm. It cannot be said that it is a part of the sperm as matter is part of matter, nor can it be said that it comes from outside or falls upon the earth and gets mixed with the matter of the sperm. It is latent in the sperm as fire is latent in the flint.”

“The truth is that the soul is developed in the body and this also proves that it is created and is not self-existent.”

Two levels of belief in God: “There should be a God”: “There is God”

Mirza Bashir Ahmad, an able son of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad- the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi has written a good note on the above topic, I want that the viewers enjoy it reading:

 Mirza Bashir Ahmad said:

“Belief in God has two levels. The first level of belief is confined to the understanding that there must be Creator and a Lord of this universe, for it does not stand to reason that the heavens and the earth are the result of accident and have no Creator.

The second level of belief is the complete and real recognition of the existence of our Creator, His attributes and the path to reach Him. Thus, the first level is the belief: ‘There should be a God’ and the second level is the firm faith: ‘There is a God’.

Let us understand once and for all that reason can never take us to the level of absolute certainty:

‘There is a God’; it only takes us up to the level where we can say that there should be a God. Hence, we come to the conclusion that though reason cannot produce true faith, it does prepare the ground for it. It will not show us the face of God, but will point to Him from a distance. It will not unite us with God, but will open up the way that leads to Him. It will not give us satisfaction but will give us the passion to achieve it. Also, it will not convince us of the existence of God, but will give us the conviction that there should be a God.”

Mirza Bashir Ahmad said:

“The Holy Quran asks us to reflect over the universe time and again. It tells us to ponder over the heavens and the earth and all the other creations and then ask ourselves if this grand and well ordered universe could have come into being by accident. On the contrary, the whole universe cries out that there must be a Creator Who created it. In this manner, God keeps inviting us to ponder over the question of the existence of God and to find the Creator through His creation.

This way of reasoning shows that human reason alone cannot be sufficient without Heavenly help. But it is interesting to note, that the verse quoted above* tells us that the knowledge of God is beyond the reach of man. Therefore, God Himself makes arrangements to help man attain knowledge of God and insight into him.

Actually, there is no conflict between the two statements. Man can reach God with the help of his reason, but mere reason cannot attain the perfect knowledge and comprehension of God. For this it is essential that God Himself helps man with His signs and grants him true understanding.”

…My name is Yahyaa Waahid and though I have a Muslim name I am not Muslim. My religion is Sabianism, so anyone who states that I am Muslim is lying to you…I just wanted to say that because in the past I have been falsely labeled as Muslim but anyway, getting to the subject, I just wanted to point out to or remind anyone who is familiar with the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that he (Muhammad) said that another Divine Man of Allah (God) was to come after him. Many who believe in the Prophet Muhammad believe that he was the last Man of Allah or Prophet that we can expect…but according to the hadith, Muhammad prophesied that the Messiah would come and perform a Divine work. From the Bukhari hadith (Book #55, Hadith #657: )

“Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (jesus,) the son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya (i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it.” Abu Huraira added “If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book): — ‘And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness Against them.” (4.159) (See Fateh Al Bari, Page 302 Vol 7)”

Would anyone like to debate this point of another Man of Allah (God) coming after Muhammad (pbuh)?

Peace & Blessings,
Yahyaa Waahid

It is true that different Muslims believe different things, but regardless of your school of thought, that hadith is from the Bukhari collection and it’s words are very plain. Jesus is to come AFTER Muhammad, so the Muslim ummah should look for another Man after Muhammad.

[24:56] Allah has promised to those among you who believe and do good works that He will surely make them Successors in the earth, as He made Successors from among those who were before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them; and that He will surely give them in exchange security and peace after their fear: They will worship Me, and they will not associate anything with Me. Then whoso is ungrateful after that, they will be the rebellious.

The one who will come after Muhammad will be a successor of him and will follow Quran and Sunnah; his title name would be Promised Messiah, Jesus and Imam Mahdi.

Muhammad will still remain the top of the messengers prophets or seal of prophets.

I further have to add that Muhammad being a Universal messenger prophet of the one true God, his religion Islam has been perfected so no messenger prophet could come in other local or regional religions as he is the Seal of Prophets so no true reformer from God now would come into them except that who is his successor and who follows Quran and Muhammad’s Sunnah.

Reason alone cannot find God

Mirza Bashir Ahmad, an able son of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad- the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi has written a good note on the above topic, I want that the viewers enjoy it reading:

 Mirza Bashir Ahmad said:

“Two Different Levels of Belief in God

God is far beyond the reach of physical eyes due to His being perfectly subtle and possessing incomprehensible infinite attributes. On the other hand, one’s faith cannot reach perfection nor benefit anyone unless he is at least as convinced of the existence of God as he is of the material things of this world. Hence, God has ordained in His wise scheme of things that man, on his own, may only progress up to a certain point. After that, God Himself descends and lifts man upwards.

In other words, God has divided belief into two levels. The first can be reached by man with the help of his reason alone. The second, however, is beyond the reach of unaided reason. In order to attain this level of faith, some other means have to descend from heaven to assist reason. Only then can man experience true faith in God, as He says in the Holy Quran:

‘Eyes cannot reach Him but He reaches the eyes.

And He is the Incomprehensible, the All-Aware.’

(al-An‘am 6:104)

This means that man can never see God with his eyes nor acquire understanding of Him on his own. God has, therefore, so arranged that He reveals Himself to man. Although He is too subtle for human eyes to behold, he is also All-Knowing.

Hence He knows that man cannot survive spiritually unless he acquires knowledge of his Creator. This is why God Himself makes arrangements to enable man to know Him despite being Subtle and Hidden from human eyes.

“Nation of Islam” | Fard Muhammad,Elijah Muhammad and or Farrakhan: None of them is Messiah or Imam Mahdi

May 11, 2013

My  post #51 http://www.religiousforums.com/forum/3323198-post51.html on the topic “Another Man of Allah (God) *after* Muhammad (so says hadith)” started by Yahyaa Waahid refers:

I will some up the points of my some posts for friend Yahyaa Waahid here.

1. As per the principles of the interpretation of Hadith, Hadith should be interpreted within the ambit of Quran and not outside of it.

2. Nation of Islam people could not point out any verse of Quran under which their leaders claim to be a Messiah or Imam Mahdi. So their claim is just to be taken as a literary or a poetic-symbolic messiah, not strictly speaking of a religious Messiah, as sometimes a good doctor could be said to be a messiah by his patients.

They are social leaders of African people living in America; if they have uplifted their people from a low status to higher one and given them self-assurance, to that extent their services should be appreciated, and not out of that.

3. Even Sahih Hadith Muslim mentions that when the Messiah comes he would receive Wahee or Word of Revelation to guide him from the one true God.

4. The Messiah would be a successor of Muhammad and not a Christian; he will follow Quran and its commandments. He will bring no new teachings and will not cancel any teachings of Quran.

5. The Messiah will be a prophet messenger of God and an Ummati of Muhammad, a follower of him; he will be an Ummati Nabee, a follower prophet of Muhammad.

6. Since he will be guided by Wahee by God, hence, another title/name of him will be of Imam Mahdi.

I think the above do not fit on FARD MUHAMMAD,Elijah Muhammad and or Farrakhan, leaders of Nation of Islam.

There being no categorical and specific claim from them having been appointed Messiah or Imam Mahdi by express Wahee or Word of Revelation from the one true God and that is why you could not quote from him; it seem to be your general impression about them which has been found to be incorrect.

So Elijah Muhammad did not claim to be what you think he was. He never was.

I, however, respect the people of Nation of Islam as they say that they are Muslims and they believe in Quran.

Can a man of Allah (God) come after Muhammad?

Paarsurrey’s note:

One could therefore make a note that no true prophet messenger has come in any religion after Muhammad; the only who had come is with the title of  the Promised Messiah, Imam Mahdi or the Guided-One the end time reformer for which almost every revealed religion has prophesied.

Difference between Ahmadi Muslims and other Muslims

May 4, 2013

Question and Answer session with Hadhrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, 5 November 1995

http://www.alislam.org/v/607.html

Please start viewing the video, setting play-head position, for the relevant Q #9 @ 01:34:35: What is the difference between Ahmadi Muslims and other Muslims? Its answer ends @ 01:38:29; the answer is only: 3.94 in duration.

Paarsurrey noted following hint words and syllables in the contents of the reply to the questions asked, in case of doubt, please hear the video and correct accordingly:

They believe Imam Mahdi, Messiah would come; we believe Jesus has come in the form of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, they believe that Jesus is alive and would come at a later time, they believe that a prophet cannot come yet they believe Jesus a prophet would come after Muhammad,
