If correctly understood Religion bonds humans to unity, peace and justice; if not correctly understood it is the fault of the vested individuals not of the Religion itself. Right, please?

God has appointed knowledge and understanding as the principal means of obtaining a true concept of Islam. Though there are other means for obtaining such knowledge, like fasting, Prayer, supplication and carrying out all the Divine commandments, the number of which exceeds six hundred, yet the knowledge of the Greatness of God and of His Unity and of His attributes of Glory and Beauty is basic for everything.

After this explanation Huzoor said that in two days InshaAllah the Jama’at will commemorate Masih e Maud Day on 23 March. On this occasion scholars and orators speak on the subject and mention God’s help and support for the Promised Messiah(as). It was a beautiful coincidence that Huzoor spoke today, two days prior, with reference to the same subject.

The Promised Messiah(as) further said: ‘Just as another Hadith relates the eclipse took place twice in the month of Ramadan. First in this country and the second time in America and it came to pass both times during the dates the Hadith refers to. Since at the time these eclipses took place, no one in the world except me claimed to be the Mahdi and Messiah and no one declared the eclipse to be a sign of him being the Mahdi like I did publishing hundreds of posters and pamphlets in Urdu, Persian and Arabic around the world, therefore this heavenly sign is designated to me.

Some foolish Maulwis write that Ghulam Dastgir did not give challenge of Mubahla and only invoked malediction upon the cruel. But I say that since he asked God’s verdict through my death and called me cruel then why did the malediction befall him? And why did God kill Ghulam Dastgir at a sensitive time when people anticipated Divine verdict, whereas he wished my death in his prayer so that he could prove to the world that just as a false Mahdi and Messiah had died through the malediction of Muhammad Tahir, this person died through my malediction.

Today 125 years have elapsed and the Jama’at is moving onwards and upwards. Will these people not have sense? Will our opponents not desist from their opposition? It is our prayer that may God give them sense and they accept the Imam of the age, the Promised Messiah(as). Because when God’s chastisement comes it seizes no matter how powerful one may be, it blows like dust and turns into cinders! May they understand and recognise the truth.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s claim in own words; the Promised Messiah, Jesus’ Second Coming

The Promised Messiah- Jesus’ Second Coming

Hank Kimball  Says:

(While commenting on one of my post<>)

“I am going to find out all I can from his (Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s) words, and not those that think he’s a heretic.

I am open to all information that anyone claims is from God or Jesus.”

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad- the Promised Messiah claims:

“I have publicly announced, having been informed of it by God through revelation, that the real and true Promised Messiah who is also the real Mahdi, tidings of whose appearance are to be found in the Bible and the Quran and whose coming is promised also in the Hadith, is myself; who is, however, not provided with any sword or gun.

I have been commanded by God to invite people with humility and gentleness to God, Who is the true God, Eternal and Unchangeable, Who has perfect Holiness, perfect Knowledge, perfect Mercy, and perfect Justice.

I am the light of this dark age; he who follows me will be saved from falling into the pit prepared by the Devil for those who walk in darkness. I have been sent by God to lead the people of the world to the true God through peace and humility, and to reassert the reign of morals in Islam.

God has provided me with heavenly signs, for the satisfaction of seekers after truth. He has done wonderful things in my support; He has disclosed to me secrets of the unseen and of the future which, according to the holy books, is the sign of a true claimant to divine office, and He has vouchsafed to me holy and pure Knowledge. Therefore, the souls which hate truth and are pleased with darkness, have turned against me. But I have decided to be sympathetic towards mankind – as far as I can.

So, in this age the greatest sympathy for the Christians is that their attention should be called to the true God, Who is free from such defects as being born and having to suffer death and undergo suffering, the God who made the earliest heavenly bodies spherical in shape and, in His law of nature, set down this point of spiritual guidance that, like a sphere, there is in Him Unity and absence of direction.

That is why the things which occupy space have not been made triangular, i.e., the things which God created first such as the earth, the heaven, the sun and the moon, and all the stars, and elements – all are spherical, the spherical nature of which points towards Unity. Therefore there can be no greater sympathy with the Christians than that they should be guided towards the God Whose creations declare Him to be free from the idea of trinity.”

Building Mosques, Unity and Accord

April 9, 2013

Friday Sermon: Building Mosques, Unity and AccordSermon Delivered by Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad at Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

FS-5 Ap

Verses Cited in this Friday Sermon:

[3:104] And hold fast, all together, by the rope of Allah and be not divided; and remember the favour of Allah which He bestowed upon you when you were enemies and He united your hearts in love, so that by His grace you became as brothers; and you were on the brink of a pit of fire and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah explain to you His commandments that you may be guided.

[16:126] Call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in a way that is best. Surely, thy Lord knows best who has strayed from His way; and He knows those who are rightly guided.

The Promised Messiah(as) said: ‘At the time our Community is in great need of mosques. [A mosque] is a house of God. In which ever town or village our mosque is built, consider that the foundation for the progress of the Community has been laid [there]. If there is a town or a village with very few or no Muslims and progress of Islam is required there, a mosque should be built there. God would Himself attract Muslims to it.

Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih said the series of relating incidents of companions of the Promised Messiah(as) that he had started [in his Friday sermons] remains wanting. Incidents of every companion were not related and those that were related were done so briefly. Yet they illustrated such high standards that one is drawn to pray for those people. Here [in Valencia] if there are families of companions of the Promised Messiah(as) they should pray for their elders.
Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih said no one is exempt from commandments of God; neither he nor anyone else; be they office-holders of the Jama’at, missionaries of the Jama’at, Ahmadi men and women. As long as we will firmly hold onto the ‘rope of Allah’ and will practice very commandment of the Holy Qur’an and will remember God’s favour that He has made us Ahmadi, we will be paying His dues and as well as the dues of His house.

God has clearly stated that Islam is now the true religion. Therefore no other religion can bring man close to God; no other religion has the strength to do so. And those whose responsibility it is to spread Islam and those who have been blessed with the ‘rope of Allah’ are indeed Ahmadis. If we damage our unity and create divisions, most certainly we will be accountable before God. It was mentioned in last Friday sermon that thousands of Spaniards whose ancestors were Muslims are entering into Islam once again. Yet, they are unaware of the true Islam.

The reception held for the mosque in Valencia was the first such major event organised by Spanish Jama’at. It was attended by neighbours, well-educated people, government officials and politicians. They all took a favourable view of the reception and many said that they had heard the beautiful teaching of Islam for the first time. Many said they felt emotional. In fact an atheist guest said that he had learned a lot about religion.

Utilising Hikmah is important for our mutual matters as well as for Tabligh. God’s grace has opened up Tabligh avenues, now it is up to people to benefit from them. The newspapers have given coverage to the news that the Khalifa has said that Muslims were expelled in the seventeen century and now we going to return. Our objective is not achieved by news coverage alone. Similar news were reported with references to Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih IV(ra) at the time of the inauguration of Basharat Mosque, Pedro Abad.

How coming together of religions will take place?

March 27, 2013

Mr. Tin Kay (sorry for the spellings; please correct me if I am wrong) asked from Mirza Tahir Ahmad a question;”There is a lot of suffering in the world of course. Will there ever be a time when people of different religions, different religious leaders will come together. And has this Messiah that you believe in, has he made any prophecies about the coming together of religions?”

The question was answered by Mirza Tahir Ahmad and I give here the same in my own words what I could gather from the video.

He told that that indeed there are prophecies found all over the world of unification of man under one flag but that does not mean amalgamation or combining of religions into one by force.

That is not unity; that will never happen. Religion does talk of a golden age when different religions or ideologies will be united under one flag; but that only means that there will be a divine movement in latter days whereby changing of thoughts and attitudes would gradually occur and the movement will gather mass until a new entity will arise.

It will not be a national or geographical happening but a universal unification of thoughts will be reborn that man will feel at one with each other sharing the same equality.

This will happen under the flag of Islam; this is coming together of religions as we understand it.

The video is presented here for the benefit of everybody:

Please start viewing the video, setting play-head position, for the relevant Q6 @ 01:09:00 .”There is a lot of suffering in the world of course. Will there ever be a time when people of different religions, different religious leaders will come together. And has this Messiah that you believe in, has he made any prophecies about the coming together of religions?”
Its answer ends @ 01:12:15: the answer is only: 03.15 in duration.

Unity or ONENESS of the Creator God is the natural and default belief

May 19, 2012

The middle path; itself shows that Buddha got enlightenment/revelation from the Creator God.

Unity or ONENESS of the Creator God is the natural belief or default faith of humanity; when they get astray they believe in many gods or they altogether deny any gods; both are one the extremes; normalcy returns when some selfless and pure person like Buddha gets converse/enlightenment from the Creator God and gets the teachings of the middle path or right path.

A graceful balance for unity and diversity: In Ahmadi peaceful Islam

March 16, 2009;article=225175;article=225220

Ceallaigh O’Garailt says:

Well, according to their bible…
The Christian version of the word of your god says their Jesus is the only true path to your god (no time limit is given in the scriptures).

You say your Muhammad is the only way

If we wipe ourselves out because we are not capable of diversity, then we should go the way of the dinosaurs. We are but specs of dust in the universe…our self extermination will go unnoticed amongst the stars.

Paarsurrey whitemunara says:

Hi Ceallaigh O’Garailt,

We Ahmadis peaceful Muslims have the diversity the world needs. We do not eliminate or exterminate or abhor any human beings. We do not say that Jesus’ or Krishna’s or Buddha’s or Zoroaster’s or Moses’ ways were wrong. We respect them all and say that the above persons were truthful persons and they must have received messages from Allah. But their people did not and could not secure the Message which was the same for every race and region. The obscure Word with them could be rejuvenated and reconstructed to the original Message but with a lot of effort, as the Renovators would do to an ancient building or monument.

While the same Creator rules the Universe now that ruled in the ancient times; He has mercifully re-sent the Message, respecting the ancient scriptures but encompassing the same in Quran in a compact manner. So the reality and diversity are not compromised but maintained in a graceful way- which is the need of the hour.

Please inform your Tibetan Buddhist daughter-in-law that we Ahmadi peaceful Muslims do not believe in genocide of anybody. I will be please if she herself writes to me as to what she means from the words spiritual homogeneity. If the persons are different and have different faculties then definitely their faculties would be cultured differently. An appropriate and graceful balance has to be maintained for unity and diversity. Allah loves individuals as per their faculties and none remains dissatisfied. I think this makes it quite compatible with your ways, in my opinion.

I love Buddha and Socrates as I love Moses and Jesus

range of interpretations- make petty Christian denominations

in another debate, “]I believe the Biblical record  is purposely ambiguous on many respects. The foundation for Christianity is “whosoever beleiveth”…..which leaves a wide range of interpretations for some beliefs. This does not mean breaking laws of non- contradiction, but denominationally the differences are generally petty. Basically, I think if there is  a roadblock, it is self imposed.
Are the differences between Christian denominations trivial or significant?
paarsurrey says:

Hi  McCulloch!

It is good to learn from you that the differences between CatholicsProtestants denominations are as you say generally petty.

Did JesusYeshuaIssa himself desired that there should be 30000+ denominations in his name? If yes, kindly quote from him.

In my opinion unity of faith is what Jesus desired of his followers.

I think you would kindly agree with me.
