Yesterday was 20 February, a day which is commemorated as the day of the prophecy of Musleh Maud in the Jama’at. In this prophecy, the Promised Messiah(as) foretold the birth of a son of his who would be pious and righteous and would have many other qualities. Last Friday sermon was about signs given to the Promised Messiah(as) by God Almighty. As today is the closest Friday to 20 February, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih deemed it appropriate to give a discourse on the prophecy of 20 February, which was called a magnificent sign by the Promised Messiah(as).

These were the qualities the son was to have. We know that Hazrat Musleh Maud(ra) graced the office of Khilafat for 52 years and departed from this world having proved his mettle to the world. Many books would need to be written if one was to study in-depth these qualities and appraise the life of Hazrat Musleh Maud(ra). It is not possible to encompass his life and achievements in sermons and speeches. Jama’at commemorates 20 February every year and scholars give speeches according to their knowledge and insight on this subject.

Hazrat Musleh Maud(ra) wrote 10 books and journals on Kalam and 31 books and journals on spirituality, Islamic morals and Islamic creed. He wrote 13 books and journals on the life of the Holy Prophet(saw), 4 books and journals on history, 3 books and journals on jurisprudence (fiqah), 25 books and journals on the politics of pre-partition India and 9 books and journals on post-partition politics and establishment of Pakistan.

Akhtar Sahib of Patna University wrote that he sent the volumes of Tafseer e Kabir to a professor of Persian, Abdul Mannan Sahib, and the professor was so impressed that he distributed some of the volumes to other academics to read. He later asked them for their opinion on it. The academics acknowledged that there was no commentary of this calibre in Persian. When it was put to them what did they think about comparing it to Arabic commentaries, they said that Arabic commentaries were not available in Patna.

An example of Western scholars opining about Five Volume Commentary is British academic A J Arberry who was a scholar of Arabic, Persian and Islamic studies. He said that the Five Volume Commentary was a huge achievement and the then current volume was the first stage of the achievement. He said Ahmadi scholars started this great work under the encouraging auspices of Hazrat Mirza Bashir ud din Mahmood Ahmad. The work was of towering nature, i.e. to produce an edition of the Qur’an with accurate and corresponding translation in English as well as commentary on every verse.

The Promised Messiah(as) writes in his magnum opus, Baraheen e Ahmadiyya about keeping a record of his revelations and says that all these arrangements have been put in place so that it may be perfectly disclosed to those who seek the truth that all blessings and lights are inherent in Islam and so that the convincing proofs of Allah reach the godless people of this age, so that in turn their satanic nature is made evident to every fair-minded person.

‘The opponents will plan to extinguish the light of God with the breaths of their mouths, that is, they will utilise cunning. However, God will perfect His light although the disbelievers will resent it.’ This is a prophecy of a time when there was no opposition or enmity against this movement. Ten years after this prophecy such enmity was shown that it became an upsurge; allegation of disbelief was recorded, edicts of murder were recorded and published in hundreds of books and journals.

Promised Messiah(as) said ‘When I write something in Urdu or Arabic I feel as if someone is tutoring me from within. My writing, be it in Arabic, Urdu or Persian is divided in two types. One type is when phraseology and its meanings flow for me as I write. I do not have to work hard for this writing and the phraseology is within my mental capacity. The words and their connotation is such that it is possible for me to write them without any special grace of God Almighty and with the blessing of His general support which is in the nature of human ability.

A Palestinian lady writes that she firmly believed that Hazrat Isa(as) was alive in the heaven and would revive Islam with the use of force. She was introduced to the Jama’at through her younger brother-in-law and read books of the Promised Messiah(as). She felt as if she had found priceless pearls. The eloquent Arabic writings were like gems of spiritual knowledge and she felt that it is such valuable writings that initiate man’s connection with God.

Abbas Sahib who is an Arab and resides in Italy writes that in spite of what the maulwis said, he used to watch MTA. Once he heard Arabic Qaseeda of the Promised Messiah(as) on MTA. As he listened to it, he looked at an image of the Promised Messiah until, spontaneously he said our aloud, by God, a liar cannot express such sentiments. This person is definitely from God.

Atami Sahib from Yemen writes that as a journalist and researcher he was intrigued to find the truth. He read a book by detractors of the Jama’at which had resorted to slandering. He realised these were age-old allegations and nothing else. On the other hand he found the eloquent Arabic of the Promised Messiah(as) miraculous. After reading books of the Promised Messiah he reached the conclusion that he had presented the true image of Islam once again.

On soul:Mirza Ghulam Ahmad

January 26, 2014

I have given following comments on the “Triangulations” blog on the topic “Heavenly Soul Bank & Right Belief”:

01/26/2014 at 3:27 pm

I would like to quote here on “soul” from Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908, The Promised Messiah/Imam Mahdi:

“It is absolutely true that the soul is a fine light developed inside the body and which is nurtured in the womb. To begin with it is hidden and imperceptible and later it is made manifest. From the very beginning its essence is present in the sperm. It is related to the sperm in a mysterious manner by the design and command and will of God. It is a bright and illumined quality of the sperm. It cannot be said that it is a part of the sperm as matter is part of matter, nor can it be said that it comes from outside or falls upon the earth and gets mixed with the matter of the sperm. It is latent in the sperm as fire is latent in the flint.”

“The truth is that the soul is developed in the body and this also proves that it is created and is not self-existent.”

Knowledge and Will Power

Friday Sermon: Knowledge and Will Power for Practical Reformation

Sermon Delivered by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad at Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on 10th January 2014.

The sermon was originally delivered in Urdu, translation available in following languages:
Urdu , English, Albanian, Arabic, Bengali, Bosnian, Bulgarian, French, German, Malayalam, Russian, Sindhi, Swahili and Tamil. Please click the language of choice on the following link:

• Wishing to be useful to the mission of the Promised Messiah(as) can only be made possible when each one of us tries our utmost to remove the impediments to the reformation of our practices. Reformation of our practices alone will draw others to us and we will be able to help in the completion of the mission of the Promised Messiah(as). The strength to reform others can only come about after our own reformation.

• Hazrat Musleh Maud(ra) said that dancing is part of Western culture. Perhaps it was not as common in the time of Hazrat Musleh Maud as it is today through the agency of television and the internet. Some homes have been turned into dance houses. In some families dancing takes place in the name of entertainment during family functions, especially during weddings. Ahmadi families should be completely free of these practices and attention should be given to this matter.

• There is little wrong with our strength of resolve. Majority of the Jama’at wants to have Taqwa (righteousness) and purity, to disseminate the message of Islam and to attain the love and nearness of God. Hazrat Musleh Maud(ra) said that although our strength of resolve was strong it did not bring results. Perhaps there is not enough resolve to implement what is desired.

• Hazrat Musleh Maud(ra) said that God has given every individual the capacity to asses/compare which determines how much strength is required to do such and such tasks because there is muscular strength and then there is mental strength, just as it was illustrated in the example of a person lifting an object, whereby capacity to assess/compare was utilised.

• It is bewildering why many people who seek [political] asylum think that unless they concoct a story their case will not be successful. This is in spite of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih repeatedly mentioning that if the matter is explained briefly and correctly asylum cases are successful quickly. There are many examples of this when people have said that they made brief and correct statements and their cases were successful promptly.

• In summary, reformation of practice requires three things: strength of resolve which is capable of big things, abundance of knowledge so that our strength of resolve realises its responsibility as regards what is wrong and what is right and supports what is right and endeavours to follow it and not lose out due to ignorance. Thirdly, we need strength to implement matters so that our limbs follow our good intentions and do not reject what the good intentions order them to do.

Human nature is a strong proof of the existence of God

May 22, 2013

Mirza Bashir Ahmad

For PART-2 please click the link < >

Mirza Bashir Ahmad, an able son of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad- the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi has written a good note on the above topic, I want that the viewers enjoy it reading:

 Mirza Bashir Ahmad said:

“Similarly we find that as one gets older, the voice of human nature becomes clearer. This also happens because thousands of veils of darkness beset a man in his youth. There is an abundance of worldly occupations and the intensity of youthful emotions often exceeds the limits of modesty. But as one gets older, consuming passions cool down and one experiences relief from worldly affairs.

Under these conditions, human nature once again finds an opportunity to bring its voice to our ears. Remember! Most atheists are young, and their views are transformed as they grow older. There are many atheists who become convinced of the existence of God in old age. The voice of nature reaches them and forces them to stop denying His existence. Although there may be exceptions, this is the general pattern that comes before us.

If someone is still confronted in his old age with circumstances that keep his human nature subdued, then he is likely to remain an atheist even in that age. But as the tendency to stray is often found only among the youth, it is they who mostly fall prey to atheism.

Someone could argue that this change in belief in old age has nothing to do with human nature, it is rather the fear of death that inclines one to God.

But this argument too goes in our favour and not against us. The fact is that the fear of death is also a voice of human nature. Otherwise, why should an atheist be afraid of death? To one who believes that life started by accident, death should not mean anything.

What started by accident would end by accident and there should be nothing of which one should be afraid! Actually the fear of death is a result of an internal change in man and this is what we call the voice of nature. When, due to old age or some other extraordinary circumstance, the veils of ignorance and darkness are removed from one’s mind and human nature again takes hold of our heart, we are irresistibly drawn towards God.

The Promised Messiah (as) says:

‘But for the countless veils covering people’s eyes; Your Countenance should indeed be the goal of every believer and nonbeliever.’

Human nature is, therefore, a strong proof of the existence of God, and it is a great favour of the Almighty that, for our guidance, He has sown the seed of faith in our nature.”

Quran is secure and the only uncorrupted Word of God Allah YHWH

July 28, 2009‎same-god/‎

Hi friends ‎

With the advent of the Second Coming 1835-1908, the Promised Messiah, the Imam ‎Mahdi; Islam and all other revealed religions stand revived and hence all the radicals, ‎extremists and mythical denomination stand exposed and irrelevant. Religious heroes of ‎all the revealed religions; Krishna, Moses, Zoroaster, Jesus and of course Muhammad-, ‎the Chief of all the Messengers Prophets, were all truthful and appointed by the Creator, ‎God Allah YHWH and hence their revelations were truthful in origing. Quran is secure ‎and the only uncorrupted Word of God Allah YHWH. ‎

All human beings are just like a family; all must be loved and never to be hated.‎

Jonolan says:

Except that Muslims are NOT peaceful people. Al-Qaeda and the Taliban are Muslims ‎and about as violent as it gets, as are HAMAS.

Muslim, Christian, Jew, Pagan, Atheist, Whatever – with a very few exceptions – are all ‎violent people and peaceful people, and all striations between the two extremes.

Paarsurrey says:

Hi friend jonolan

I agree with you that all human beings are generally stationed between the two extremes ‎of peaceful and the fightful. There are peaceful people among them, and there are others ‎who are not so peaceful or just fightful. ‎

What I meant was that a true Muslim has not only to be peaceful in name but in his ‎actions and deeds also. A true Muslim has to abide by the commandments of Quran and ‎Sunnah; which are very peaceful.‎

The radical Muslims and extremists of whom you have pointed out should be peaceful if ‎they think they are Muslim. The extremists are very small people in numbers and ‎majority of the Muslims don’t support them. Anyway they are being taken care of by ‎America and its allies.‎

Islam would be number one religion in the West (including America)‎

Hi friends

I believe that Muslims numbers will increase as Muslims have more children than others ‎‎in the West. They pray five times a day and keep fasting in Ramadhan and perform Hajj; ‎‎this keeps them well knit and religious.

With the advent of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908; the Promised Messiah and Imam ‎‎Mahdi (the peaceful Reformer of the Revealed Religions of the World) the scenario has ‎‎been changed; the peaceful teachings of Islam/Quran/Muhammad have been highlighted ‎‎by him; and under his banner all the religions would unite peacefully. He has come as a ‎‎successor of Muhammad, so his convincing, rational and logical arguments would do this ‎‎job as destined by God Allah YHWH.‎
The result would be opening of the hearts and minds of the West and others for ‎‎Islam/Quran/Muhammad; but there should be no worry for anybody as it would be done ‎‎peacefully; and this is what West wants.‎

So Islam would be number one religion this way in the West (including America), I ‎believe.

All humans are but a family; love for all, hatred for none.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad – the man whom God has appointed and sent as Second Coming to expose the Pauline Christianity; the wrong creeds built on Cross

May 19, 2009

Wellwateredgarden says:

Who is ‘The Promised Messiah’ if not Jesus?

Paarsurrey says:

Hi friend wellwateredgarden

Thanks you for asking such a valid question.

As I have explained today in another post on my blog; the clever Paul interfered with the truthful accounts of Jesus’ life. He was an enemy of Jesus; when he couldn’t kill Jesus and he learnt that Jesus had slipped away from Judea to India; Paul now wanted to kill Jesus’ teachings, and for that he invented a new philosophy in the name of Jesus. Paul based his new Theological Philosophy in the name of Jesus to allure the faithful into it. He used Jesus’ name as a scapegoat; that Jesus was God, Son of God, Word became flesh who came to die a cursed death on Cross for atonement of the sins; all these things you know.

Paul eulogized Jesus to promote his own philosophy; which had nothing to do with Jesus and Jesus’ teachings. Paul deified poor Jesus who prayed for his own life to God Allah YHWH.

Quran tells us that Jesus was accounted for these foul teachings of his becoming a god. Jesus denied that he ever gave any such teachings himself. Jesus became spiritually disturbed for the wrong teachings ascribed to him and his mother Mary, in his absence, and asked forgiveness from God Allah YHWH in this connection.

Jesus’ spirit desired that this phenomenon should be rectified. Bible misquoted Jesus when it says that Jesus prophesized for his Second Coming, sooner that many of his disciples would be alive, not die, to see him coming. This was a wrong creed of the Bible and the Christians.

All people of Jesus’ time died and Jesus never turned; that is any ample poof that Bible was wrong, you know, since Bible was neither from God nor from Jesus, but from the sinful scribes who knew nothing for sure to tell the people.

The character of the sinful scribes was also doubtful, as they all deserted Jesus and fled away from the scene of Cross, leaving their “Lord Jesus” crying on the Cross. This is enough for their wrongs.

It was Muhammad who clarified the true meaning and purpose of the Second Coming of the Promised Messiah; it would be one of the followers of Muhammad, who would expose the wrong edifice built on Cross. Jesus cursed death on Cross would be exposed and true teachings of Jesus as mentioned in Quran would be established.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908 is the name of the man whom God Allah YHWH has appointed and sent for Second Coming to expose the Pauline Christianity. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad is the man who has been sent as the Promised Messiah. He is the follower of Muhammad and his caliph or the true Successor of Muhammad.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran

The Evangelists (Matthew, Mark, John and Luke) simply played with the teachings of Jesus and the Old Testament

May 10, 2009

Jesus of Bible is Jesus made from wax molded at whims of the Evangelists (Matthew, Mark, John and Luke)

Michelle says:

The statement of Scripture the average Jewish young man or woman was brought up on was Deut.6:4: “Hear O Israel! The LORD our God, the LORD is One”. It is in the light of this overwhelming assertion of Jewish monotheism that a claim to divinity by any Jew is to be viewed. What an astonishment it must have caused in the minds of His audience when this Jew Who came 1500 years after Moses claimed (even if indirectly) that He was of the same essence as Jehovah! Jesus, however, delighted more in calling Himself as ‘the Son of Man’ although it is John who, more than the other evangelists dared to call Him ‘the Son of God’. To be sure, the title ‘Son of Man’ carried with it the overtones of divinity although distinct from God as seen Dan. 7:13, 14. Jesus emphasized His humanity (by the use of this title) as that was more descriptive of the work He had come to complete. But we need to recognize that His work also necessitated His being God. If He had been only human, even
His human functions could not have had such eternal implications.

Paarsurrey says:

Hi friend michelle, miss of bombay

I think your writeup is long; please don’t mind, I would be replying it in portions.

I respect your faith.

I have to submit with all humility that to me, Jesus of Bible seems to be a helpless person in the hands of the confused and sinful evangelists. I think they carved their own Jesus from wax; they molded Jesus the way they liked and which served their own ends; having little care for Jesus or Jesus’ teachings or teachings of the Old Testament of which Jesus was a strict follower. Either they were men of poor understanding or they simply played with the teachings of Jesus and the Old Testament. Once they deserted Jesus physically as they fled away from the scene of Crucifixion; now they seem set to take revenge from Jesus’ teachings and his acts.

They were not decided about Jesus as to what he was; they were constantly in confusion, sometimes they described him Son of Man or Son of Adam, at other times they would describe him Son of God, yet another time they would say he was god. They would say he was born of Mary and hence Son of Mary; yet he was in the beginning and became flesh; and became his own father or husband of Mary. I don’t mind that; it is their insinuation or confusion; they had a right if they wanted to remain in a state of confusion.

One wonders, if they were real disciples of Jesus; as they want us to believe that Jesus was going to die only for three days and then he was going to become a living god. What need they had to run away. Were they hidden unbelievers? If they thought that Jesus was their god; what fear they should have had from the Jews or the Romans? What maximum would have happened to them in three days? At the most the Jews or the Romans would have killed them. Jesus becoming alive after three days; if he ever cared for the disciples of Bible, must have not only made them alive from the dead but must have rewarded them suitably also; like they had seen Jesus performing the miracle of making Lazarus alive from the dead, if it ever worked as per Bible.

I think they, the Evangelists doubted and never believed that Jesus had performed any such miracle or that he was going to perform now his biggest miracle of becoming himself alive from the dead.

I see the Evangelists (Matthew, Mark, John and Luke) standing in line with the Jews and not believing that Jesus showed any miracle.

Jesus of Bible admitted that the Jews won’t be shown any miracle except the sign of Jonah, if the Jews denied or Jesus did not show any miracle previously, the Evangelists deny his last Sign.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908, the Promised Messiah, the Second Coming, rightly observes:

“I wonder what the Christians are so proud of! If they have a ‘God’, he is the one who died long ago and lies buried in Mohalla Khanyar, Sirinagar, Kashmir. And if he has any miracles to his name, they are no greater than those of other Prophets, indeed Prophet Elijah showed greater miracles than he ever did. In the eyes of the Jews, Jesus (as) showed no miracles at all, and it was all deception and trickery.

This statement of the Jews is corroborated by Jesus (as) himself, for he says in the Gospels, “An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign, and there shall no sign be given unto it…” If Jesus (as) had shown miracles to the Jews, he would surely have referred to them on this occasion.”

The sinful writers of the Gospels were not trusted disciples of Jesus; that is why Jesus left them behind and did not take them along, when he went to India along with Mary, after being saved from a cursed death on Cross by the grace and mercy of Allah. Jesus died a respectful and natural death in India, at the age of about 120 years.

This is only what we see Evangelists doing, their tricky things, in the daylight of reason and rationality.

Jesus was a great man a Messenger Prophet of God Allah YHWH and so were his teachings; his mother Mary was a marvelous lady as per Quran.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran, not the mythical Jesus presented by the cunning and sinful Paul and the sinful scribes.

I respect your faith; you must be guided by your own conscience freely, this is what I believe sincerely without any intention of injuring anybody else’s feelings.
