I will be giving here the script written on the “Chola-Sahib” or the “Long-Coat” or the “Holy Robe” of Baba Nanik Ji. All script is in Arabic and one of them reads exactly:

” لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا الله مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ الله‎ ”
“lā ilāha illā -llāh, muḥammadur rasūlu -llāh.
There is no god but Allah, [and] Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”

Baba Nanik Ji was given this coat by G-d, I understand, that is what the Sikhs believe.
No comments needed by me, it is evident. Right, please?

How to ascertain truth from untruth distinctively?

I agree that respecting religious heroes of others certainly could form a basis for dialogue between different faiths and so promote peace.

Since it was God who made the world as we know it, truth can be found everywhere and among all peoples. There is, however, much more half-truth than genuine truth and that is the problem.

You and I are likely searching for the same truth but teachings and backgrounds have given us different perspectives of truth and how that should look. We both have probably stopped looking but now simply defend what we know about truth.

I appreciate you sincerity and love for others and certainly you will be rewarded for that.

May God bless you and keep you!

Hi wellwateredgarden,

I agree with you. The first step towards uniting the deists; Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs Zoroastrians, Catholics and Protestants etc, is that the heroes of all Revealed Religions were truthful in origin.

Then comes the stage for truths and half truths in the scriptures; how to ascertain untruth mixed with the Truth or to differentiate between evil and virtue. GodAllahYHWH has also solved this problem. As a supposition, please take Quran as a standard. You will see that the problem would be solved in an easy way.

One must note that only Quran gives us the text for a claim and also a reason thereof. Bible and other revealed scriptures of other religions; either won’t give a clear/straightforward text for a claim in their support, in my opinion; and or reasons other scriptures just don’t not have them, in my opinion. Their adherents have to add words and or reasons or wisdom into the mouth of their religious heroes so that the text of their scriptures agrees with the context of their scriptures rationally, logically and naturally.

This we could distinctively know the standard from the un-standard; in an unbiased way and with ease.

I think you would please agree with me.

May GodAllahYHWH bless you!

I respect your faith and religion.

Welcome for any question/peaceful discussion

Thanks

a journey in a desert in the midst of summer on a hot sunny day

September 4, 2008

The Promised Messiah 1835-1908 says:

It is a common experience that calamities which cannot be averted by ordinary measures, and the difficulties which seem insurmountable, very often respond to the power of unanimity. Hence it would be against the dictates of wisdom for one to not benefit from the blessings of unanimity. The Hindus and the Muslims are two great nations inhabiting this country. It is hard to believe that either of the two, for instance the Hindus, would one day gain total domination over the Muslims, and turn them out of this country altogether.

Likewise, it is not possible for Muslims to expel the Hindus from their homeland. It should always be borne in mind that Hindus and Muslims are indispensable to each other in this country. If one is beset with a calamity, the other will inescapably share it. If either one intends to humiliate the other, out of egoistic pride or vanity, then it will not escape the consequent disgrace itself. And if anyone among them falls short of showing concern for his neighbour, then he too will suffer the ill effect of his callousness.

Anyone who contemplates annihilation of the other is like one who saws off the branch on which he is sitting. With the Grace of Allah, you have also got a measure of education; it behoves you now to eschew grudge and promote mutual love. Similarly, the dictates of your wisdom require that you abandon the course of callousness and adopt an attitude of compassion and sympathy. The hardship of this life is like unto a journey in a desert in the midst of summer on a hot sunny day. It would be futile to take this arduous journey without cool water. It is the cool water of mutual love which you so direly need to extinguish this burning fire and to save you from dying of thirst.

In precarious times such as these I invite you to truce, as reconciliation is urgently required by both nations. Many a calamity is befalling the world; there are earthquakes and there are famines. Over and above the earthquakes and famines we continue to be plagued by the bubonic pestilence.

Moreover the Divine revelations which God has conveyed to me further confirm that if people do not mend their evil ways and practices and do not repent their sins, the world will be further visited by other severe calamities. One misery will not end before another follows. Eventually people will reach the end of their tether and will wonder what is happening to them and what next is in store for them. They will be pushed to the edge of their senses by calamity upon calamity.

So take heed my countrymen, before such evil days confront you. It is highly essential that Hindus and the Muslims should come to terms with each other and if either of the two parties is guilty of such excesses as obstruct the path of peace; they are better advised to desist from pursuing that course. Otherwise, the entire blame for the sin of mutual enmity will be borne by the faulting party.

If someone questions the possibility of reaching reconciliation while religious differences are playing such a negative role, throwing hearts further apart; then my answer would be to say that difference in matters of religion can only play a negative role when it disregards the dictates of justice, wisdom and the well-tested human values.

It is to avoid this danger that man has been fully fortified with a clear sense of judgement and common sense. He should thus always carve a path for himself which never deviates from the path of justice and good sense. Again it should not violate the commonly experienced human sensibilities. Also it should be remembered that day to day petty differences cannot obstruct the course of reconciliation. Only those differences can destroy the process of reconciliation which result in insulting and blasphemous attitudes by one towards the revered Messengers and revealed holy books of the other.

The good news in all this for those who seek reconciliation is that all of the Islamic teachings are also found in the different parts of Vedic teaching. For instance, although the newborn branch of Vedic faith entitled Arya Samaj teaches that after the revelation of the Vedas, communication from God to man was sealed, the great avatars born in the Hindu faith from time to time, who have millions upon millions of followers in this country, have doubtlessly broken that seal by claiming to be recipients of Divine revelation. One such elect Divine representative, who is greatly revered in this country and Bengal, is known as Sri Krishna. He claimed to be the recipient of God’s Word and his followers not only believe him to be a Messenger but some consider him to be God personified. There is no doubt, however, that Sri Krishna was a Messenger and a representative of God in his time, and God conversed with him.

Likewise from among the Hindu people of the Latter Days, was one named Baba Nanak whose saintliness has become a byword in this country. His followers, the Sikhs, number no less than two million. Baba Sahib openly claims to be the recipient of revelation in the Janam Sakhis 1 and the Granth 2.

Blind Faith – yet another form of not-believing

June 18, 2008

Hi!

The scriptures of all Revealed Religions are; be they Noah-ides, Jews Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs etc whoever and wherever there are people claiming they are or they had in the past received God’s word, all included provide the sum total of the revealed stock of guidance provided by God to man- a common treasure for the whole humanity as against the atheism or not-believing who have received non.

Scriptures are Word of God, if they contain the words of God in the original language in which it were revealed, rather than meanings in the form of translations or different versions or interpretations of somebody or are written observations of a scribe/disciple /apostle or comments of simply a reader/writer .Science is the ACT of God depicted in the whole universe, not what the scientists say (scientists so often talk of theories, that are not yet science, strictly speaking, unless these are considered as Scientific Laws. The Scientific Laws are not creation of the scientists, they just discover with experiments what has already been created by God, they only verify with their experiments and close observations what already exists and created by God.

The source of Word of God and Act of God is the same i.e. one God-the Supreme Creator, the All–Knowing and All-Wise, therefore there cannot be logically any contradiction in both.

If there is prima facie a contradiction or difference, a gap in the two, then this has to be investigated truthfully and logically, the fault if any is of the humans involved. Either the Word of God has been wrongly interpreted/translated or interpolated by the humans or yet a Law of Science is in the process of making/not yet fully discovered. This would require reconciliation of the two with facts and one with the fault would be amended/updated accordingly .The religious people ,being human beings, are also prone to err, get carried away into superstitions , myths ,unreal mysticism due to their becoming over zealous or sometimes under pressure, the same is true of the scientific people ( not the scientists).

The faithful believes and has to believe the truth whichever and wherever and wherefrom the truth has emerged , with continuous search instead of the blind faith which is yet another form of not- believing that causes believing in myths and fiction rather than the facts. This is the system from God.

Evolution of human thought and progress of scientific knowledge in every branch of knowledge provides us ground to evolve our centuries old religious concepts, while every thing else is progressing , adapting to the new realities which surface due to new knowledge and technology, on the basis of undisputed facts brought by history , archaeology or sciences etc. The old concepts of clergy, theologians were mostly based on their limited knowledge of that time, which needs to be updated and not to be followed blindly as the new but real facts have emerged. Why to believe in the religious establishment when it is proved wrong.

The intention is not to provoke any controversy or to weaken faith of the Christians or it is not an attempt unnecessarily to convert them to some other faith. This is intended to make Christians a better Christians which fact is also evidenced by splitting of Christianity into some 30000+ sects.

After all there is some discrepancy somewhere. This is every individual’s own duty to do this exercise himself; others can only help, which is the true intention.
Since no conflicting debate is intended, as I abhor such debates. One enjoys and one’s knowledge gets improved by wisdom of the learned fellow human beings who think otherwise. With their wise and free comments other side of the concept is presented which provides one rich food of thought and rather than creating confusion one improves ones’ thoughts and beliefs which is only possible when we cross-examine our concepts with the opposing concepts. It is a positive exercise, there is no compulsion, and it develops free, logical and rational thinking, after all every body has finally to decide for himself. Everybody of any religion may therefore enrich us with his opinions and experiences and should feel free for that.

When one cannot reconcile science and religion one normally does not share or discuss such thoughts with others especially with the clergy, the so called religious people, imbued with extra zeal that normally happen to be very narrow minded and close hearted, not to speak of the opposing views, one even does not discuss within the same faith people. By and by such silent people sometimes become atheists. Most of the people (be Christians or for that matter of any other religion) seldom go to the Churches (or synagogues or mosques or temples), which shows that inwardly they have become dormant in their faith or nearing or turned atheists or not-believing. These peoples have to be “awakened” in the faith by providing them the amended facts, the God sent reality without man–woven myths, which is only possible by reconciling Word of God with Act of God or vice versa, in the light of and updating with the new undoubted facts which are common treasure of man, or searching the true word of God from the existing scriptures, also a common Treasure of man.

All believers of any religion have to make concerted efforts for revival of their faith to salvage growing silent atheists or dormant believers of the faith. The question is not of converting of a Christian to any other faith more important issue is of reclaiming the present Christian to the true Christian, Jew to a true Jew, Muslim to the true Islamic faith, Sikh to the true Sikhism etc, all bowing to the true will of God. To me, these are the natural allies-being believers in one God and must be loved.

Inter-faith dialogue or study of the Comparative Religions is logically done to bridge this gap- a man made gap between the Word of God (the scripture) and Act of God (pure laws of science). The decision again rests with the individual.

I love Jesus, Mary, Krishna, Moses and Muhammad.

Subject: Jesus’ Return

Hi! Dore

You are a claimant of being Jesus or Christ and I respect you and all such claimants.

There are many claimant of this office. The Jews are waiting for the Christ/Moshiach for the last three thousand years or so and they say he is yet to come, a long wait indeed!

They have a long list of about twenty such claimants but they believe they were all untrue claimants as they could not fullfil their aspirations so they have declared them untrue in retrospect.

The Christians are also waiting for the Second Advent or return of Jesus (whom they consider as God)

The Muslims believe that Jesus was only a true prophet of God who will descend from the sky a second time as a Muslim and he will destroy and kill all non-believers of the world, an extremist view.

So, simply by your saying that you are true Jesus and others are false will not solve the problem for the peoples.

Then there are other nations waiting of the return of heir religious leaders i.e. Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Zoroastrians etc; waiting for their religious leaders to return and reform the world which is in a dilemma and seeking the right path.

The question is so important for the world.

If you are a busy person, kindly send me, if possible, e-mail addresses of ten such persons of a firm faith who believe that you are Jesus so that I can discuss this issue with them and arrive at an impartial criteria from the scriptures of all these nations so that we believe the true Jesus/Christ or reformer of the world religions.

you wrote,

Well, if that is true, then you don’t know God, nor does idolatry or blasphemy against me bother you in the least, for there is only ONE true Son of the Father.

The Jews have a long history of rebelling and sinning against God, and because of their disobedience and disrespect, selfish desires for deliverance from Roman oppression, instead of deliverance from sins, they denied my advent the first time I came to the earth. That being said, they are still awaiting their own concept of Messiah, instead of seeking and pleasing God to have the truth revealed to them. Those who have denied me, the first time I came to the earth, are condemned already and thus, their expectations will remain unfulfilled. God doesn’t bow to the will and desires of men, but has created a plan to redeem mankind from their sins, and the Jews have denied this plan of salvation.

The Muslims believe that Jesus was only a true prophet of God who will descend from the sky a second time as a Muslim and he will destroy and kill all non-believers of the world, an extremist view.

No, the Muslims believe that Mohammed was the only true prophet of God and that I was merely a holy man sent from God. They do not recognize my purpose or plan. They have no aspirations of my return, but believe that all should follow the words of Mohammed and all who refuse are unbelievers and should be destroyed.

So, simply by your saying that you are true Jesus and others are false will not solve the problem for the peoples.

Of course, just “saying” that I am the only begotten Son of the Father would not “solve” the problems for all peoples, but then again, I never said I would. But as I stated before, evidence for who I am is found in obedience to every word that I spoke in the gospels, as well as fulfilling the prophecies of my second advent, which I have completely fulfilled the first and have fulfilled numerous prophecies of the second advent, with the rest to be fulfilled shortly. I prophesied in my first coming that only a few would be saved and most would reject and deny me and be condemned, so all of those who do not believe in me, will continue to have problems until they are destroyed, because they are condemned, as stated in the prophecies for these end times.

cont

Then there are other nations waiting of the return of heir religious leaders i.e. Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Zoroastrians etc; waiting for their religious leaders to return and reform the world which is in a dilemma and seeking the right path.

Actually, the concept of a return of a “Messiah” for these other false religions is a modern concept, just recently added to their theologies, attempting to be a part of this great event. Buddhists don’t even believe in God, and Hindus believe in numerous gods, so which one would they expect to return?

cont

If you are a busy person, kindly send me, if possible, e-mail addresses of ten such persons of a firm faith who believe that you are Jesus so that I can discuss this issue with them and arrive at an impartial criteria from the scriptures of all these nations so that we believe the true Jesus/Christ or reformer of the world religions.

Well, clearly you are under some misconception that I must prove myself to you and the world. You also are under some false impression that I have returned for ALL peoples in all religions, for which the scriptures clearly state that I am not. If you knew the second coming prophecies, you would know that I am not here to prove myself to mankind, nor here to reform any other religion,  but here to JUDGE all mankind according to their faith in me and their obedience to my words from the first advent,  thus they must prove themselves to me, if they want redemption and salvation.  So, you like the rest, who do not yet believe in me, will then have to wait until I rise to be revealed to the world. Besides, there is NO impartial criteria to come to faith in me, there is the truth, righteousness, wisdom, prophecies, knowledge and scriptures that state clearly of my objective, purpose and events as planned from the beginning.  I am NOT here to satisfy mankind and their desires, but gather together those who have prepared for my return and whom truly serve God.
