Humans decide as to what they have to do good or evil.
Satan was never an angel.
It is in nature of Satan to rebel.

Satan has no absolute power on humans

December 12, 2011

It is a wrong concept to believe that Satan or devil has absolute power on the human beings; one should see the following verse:

[14:23] And when the matter is decided, Satan will say, ‘Allah promised you a promise of truth, but I promised you and failed you. And I had no power over you except that I called you and you obeyed me. So blame me not, but blame your own selves. I cannot succour you nor can you succour me. I have already disclaimed your associating me with God. For the wrongdoers there shall, surely, be a grievous punishment.’

Hi friend cosmicdancer

I think you refer to the following verses of Quran:

The Holy Quran : Chapter 27: Al-Naml

[27:16] And We gave knowledge to David and Solomon and they said, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, Who has exalted us above many of His believing servants.’
[27:17] And Solomon was heir to David. And he said, ‘O ye people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have had all necessary things bestowed upon us. This indeed is God’s manifest Grace.’
[27:18] And there were gathered together unto Solomon his hosts of jinn and men and birds, and they were formed into separate divisions,
[27:19] Until when they came to the valley of Al-Naml, a Namlite said, ‘O ye Naml, enter your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you, while they know not.’
[27:20] Thereupon he smiled wondering at her words and said, ‘My Lord, grant me that I may be grateful to Thee, for Thy favour which Thou hast bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do such good works as would please Thee, and admit me, by Thy mercy, among Thy righteous servants.’
[27:21] And he reviewed the birds and said, ‘How is it that I do not see Hudhud? Is he deliberately absent?
[27:22] ‘I will surely punish him with a severe punishment or I will slay him, unless he brings me a clear reason for his absence.
[27:23] And he did not tarry long before Hudhud came and said, ‘I have acquired knowledge of that of which thou hast no knowledge; and I have come to thee from Saba’ with sure tidings;
[27:24] ‘I found a woman ruling over them, and she has been given every necessary thing and she has a mighty throne;
[27:25] ‘I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allah, and Satan has made their works look beautiful to them, and has thus hindered them from the right way, so they are not rightly guided –
[27:26] ‘And they insist that they will not worship Allah, while Allah is He who brings to light that which is hidden in the heavens and the earth, And Who knows what you conceal and what you disclose of your design;
[27:27] ‘Allah! there is no god but He, the Lord of the Mighty Throne.’
[27:28] Thereupon Solomon said, ‘We shall see whether thou hast spoken the truth or whether thou art a liar

Angel of light never described as Satan in Quran; Satan represents darkness not light

May 16, 2009

Ericprothro says:

If you check muslin history you will find that the Mormon faith and the Muslim religion were both started the exact same way; an Angel of light appeared to their leader. Do your research you will find that this is true. In all books either Koran or Mormon the angel of light is always identified as Satan. Shalom

Paarsurrey says:

Hi friend ericprothro

Please quote from Quran to prove your point where angel of light has been always identified as Satan. I am sure you are mistaken in this connection.

I love Jesus and Mary as I love Moses and his mother, mentioned in Quran.

This was ordained from the beginning, and God’s word can never be false.

April 28, 2009

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad , the Promised Messiah says:

When we observe the well-armed legions of the earth
busy in their preparations, having already accomplished a
great deal, we are led to believe that the kingdom of
heaven is not unmindful of its preparations either.

The heavenly dominion is averse to show and ostentation and
it accomplishes a great deal without anyone knowing
about it. People finally become aware of it when there appears
a light in heaven and a white minaret on earth; the
heavenly light then falls upon the minaret and white minaret.

This last sentence requires some explanation. Although
God’s spiritual order is in complete harmony with the
physical one, it does, at times, display singular features that
are not easily discernable in the physical order. For example,
when an earthly attraction is formed, it results in the
formation of a heavenly attraction, even though the two are
opposed to one another.

And it stands to reason that when
these two attractions reach their pinnacle in the final days
of the world, they must confront one another, for neither
can gain supremacy without destroying the other. When
two sides are equal in power and glory, they inevitably
clash.

Not only has this been foretold in all the books of the
Prophets, but reason also demands that when two powerful
and opposing attractions come into collision, one of them
must vanquish the other or both must be annihilated.

In keeping with the description found in the books of the
Prophets, it so happened that when a thousand years had
passed after Jesus—the period in which, according to the
prophecies, Satan had remained in shackles—an evil force
began to assert itself upon the earth.

This was the time when Islam began to decline
in respect of its noble principles; its spiritual progress
came to a halt, and its worldly
conquests ceased. Islam was born in an age when Satan
lay bound in chains—and so it must have been, for this is
what all the Prophets, as far back as John the divine, had
foretold—and its downfall began when Satan was released
after 1000 A.D., and Islam ceased to progress any
further.

Thereafter, all kinds of satanic activities took root
and the tree of evil began to grow upon the earth, until
some of its branches pervaded the East, some reached the
farthest settlements of the West, and some spread over the
North and South. Just as external evens have shown the
period of Satan’s imprisonment to be a thousand years,
the period of his freedom is also a thousand years, as foretold
by the Prophets, and it comes to an end at the turn of
the fourteenth century of the Hijra.

These thousand years
are to be reckoned according to the divine or lunar calendar,
for it is according to this system that the Jews and
Muslims have been taught to determine the time of [the
fulfilment of] prophecies. Calculations based on the solar
calendar are an innovation of man and go against the purport
of the sacred writings.

These, in short, are the final days of Satan’s respite, indeed
they have already passed, for nineteen years have already
elapsed since the turn of the Hijra century which marked
the end of Satan’s period of freedom. He, however, does
not wish to be stripped of his power, and a struggle between
the two forces is inevitable.

This was ordained from
the beginning, and God’s word can never be false.

Jesus cannot atone possibly

August 15, 2008

The atonement and the related issues have been discussed by Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad and analyzed as under:-

How could Jesus be born innocent when he had a human mother? If the sin of Adam and Eve had polluted the entire progeny of this unfortunate couple, then as a natural consequence, all male and female children must inherit the same genetic propensity to sin.

Females were perhaps more likely to because it was Eve who as the instrument of Satan enticed Adam. Therefore, the responsibility of sin falls squarely on the shoulders of Eve rather than of Adam.

In the case of the birth of Christ, obviously it was a daughter of Eve who contributed the major share. The question that very powerfully arises is whether Jesus inherited any gene bearing chromosomes from his human mother or not. If he did so, then it was impossible for him to escape the inevitable inherited sin. If he did not inherit any chromosomes from his mother either, then indeed that birth would be doubly miraculous.

Only a miracle could produce a son who neither belongs to his father nor to his mother. What remains incomprehensible is why those chromosomes, provided by Eve, did not carry the innate tendency to sin to the child Jesus.

Suppose it happened somehow, and Jesus had that innocence needed to carry the sins of mankind, on condition that they believed in him and not otherwise, another problem would arise: what happened, one may ask, to the progeny of Adam and Eve that died before the dawn of Christianity? How many billions of them might have got scattered throughout the world over five continents generation after generation. They must have lived and died without hope or even the possibility of ever hearing about the Christ their Saviour who was not yet born.

In fact the entire humanity between Adam and Christ seemed certainly to be doomed for ever. Why were they never given even a remote chance to be forgiven? Would they be forgiven retrospectively, by Jesus Christ? If so, why?

In other parts of the world, much larger by comparison to the tiny land of Judea, where people had never heard of Christianity even during the life time of Jesus Christ, what happens to them? They never did, nor ever could, believe in the ‘Sonship’ of Jesus Christ. Will their sins go unpunished or will they be punished? If they go unpunished, for what reason? If they are punished, again by what logic? What chance did they have anyway? They were totally helpless. What a distorted sense of absolute justice!

Please remove confusions about God, devil and spirit

June 7, 2008

The monotheists believe that One God has many attributes and these attributes need not to be personified or physically made, since God is not a physical being, rather everything physical has been created by Him and he is distinctively aloof of all the creations. God is manifest by His attributes. I would say, please do not mind, out of confusion the polytheists might have personified the attributes of God and often made physical gods and named the same accordingly.

“Shytan” is not a being in itself;it has been created by God.Satan is only a product of human minds and of instinctive human tendencies toward error. God alone is Creator, and all are creatures of His might.”

“Gabriel” is also not a being in him, and works as God orders him, so there is no need to treat him god.

The fact is that all true prophets of great religions of the world on whom God revealed Himself and talked to them, one to one, they have given the message to the mankind that God is one.

To me, it is not a philosophical question; it is the observation and experience of the prophets who talked with God in different ages and different regions of the world that God is one.
