Has the Creator God created Universe for His enjoyment?

December 3, 2011

The Creator God has not created human beings for His enjoyment or His pastime. He does not get bored; boredom is a blemish for Him and is a human phenomenon only.

[21:18] If We had wished to find a pastime, We would surely have found it in what is with Us if at all We were to do such a thing.

He has created us human being so that we may be thankful to Him for all that He has created and bestowed to us in the past and all that He can create and will create for us if we abide by his guidance, follow His path and fulfill purpose of our life set by Him.

This in other words is heaven for us.

What is the purpose of human life?

May 19, 2011

What is the purpose of human life?

It is obvious that man is not in a position to
appoint the purpose of his own life, for he does not
come into the world of his own accord, nor will he
depart therefrom of his own will. He is a creature and
the One Who created him and invested him with
better and higher faculties than those of all other
animals, has also appointed a purpose for his life.

It is very clear that man is not in a position to assign a purpose for his own life, as he has not come into this world of his own will nor will he go from this world of his own will.

Man has been bestowed life, as it happens, we find ourselves suddenly living in this world and there is definitely going to be a day when we are going to stop breathing and we will die; there is no doubt about it.

Man has been created and he who has sent him in this world, and provided man with better and higher talents invested deep into his genes which are not found in other animals, has set a purpose for man’s life; one may though deny it for the time being.

Purpose of life should be considered distinct from the carrier one has selected to pursue for earning the livelihood as long as one lives in this world. It also couldn’t be fixed or set for us by our parents; they acted only as intermediary agents for our birth, they had no powers to select our faculties before our birth; they never created us. It is not even a target set by one individual personally.
We are talking here of the purpose which is relevant to the whole human beings as a species.

Our parents all they did was to supply some of their own genetic material, protect and foster us while developing a body, teach us and care for us until we were able to do everything independently and they took pride in us whatever good we were doing.

In no case it is a dictation; neither the parents could dictate us nor anybody else for that matter truthfully speaking. We would do whatever we like to do with an inner responsibility feeling within us. This is responsibility of one’s life reposed in us or inbuilt within us, naturally. Those who allow their purpose in life, to be dictated, in any manner by anybody are being irresponsible to themselves.
Bottom line; is the purpose of man’s life only to procreate and then die as the other animals do? I agree that it could be one aspect of our life for continuation of our life as mortals; to have a hue of immortality; yet we will remain mortals as we are.

Life is endless in a way; we are just a continuation of our parents who happened to be a continuation of our grandparents, and so on and so forth.

The biggest mistake one can do to oneself is to refuse to give birth; one should fulfill all the natural urges one has to fulfill the purpose of life. Celebrate your life every day until such a time that your progeny will takeover.

If one understands one’s purpose of life; then one would live it with more responsibility.

Don’t we ever feel that we should excel others? Don’t we feel that we should do something which makes us outstanding in our fellow human beings? I think there is a desire in us to excel in all faculties which are there in our genes.

I have a religion that I love and admire it; you may also have yet another religion that you may love like me or even more; you may likewise just have no religion; that is not the point .I don’t tell you what to do as obviously you don’t tell me what I have to do. The brain is a very powerful tool.

One only has a set amount of time on this earth; with that being said if time is limited, very limited, it is clear that people should occupy their brains with things they love most, if these are positive and don’t trample rights of others. Every individual would like that his inner capabilities are cultivated to its maximum and polished to completeness. And that is not detestable; it is admirable. This means that the things one spends one’s time on are and should be up to the optimum level. Whether you want to believe it or not, you have a burning desire within you to lighten up your faculties which always occupy your brain intuitively. Like, there could be an individual who feels learning about the universe and biology; who feel this much more intriguing and it fits with him much better than others. Nobody’s goals are hindered here; everybody’s goals must be fulfilled.

There is no dictation; the purpose is already defined by the creator and it is as good as a purpose could be; if one fulfills it; it is appreciated; if one doesn’t fulfill it one’s deeds get wasted, obviously.

The blame is on the person not on the Creator.

Purpose of humans could be understood from the completion of all the positive faculties in man which can only be achieved from each of the attributes fulfilling completeness in its relation to a particular attribute of the Creator-God; if we develop them negatively they don’t correspond to any attribute of the Creator-God and get wasted as their direction is lost; though we can achieve some reward in the worldly life but its fruition in the hereafter is lost.

The process of relating and aligning our activities to one or many attributes of the Creator-God and its completion or fulfillment of the same is called being in image of Him or worshipping Him, inculcating his attribute in our selves.

When we merge our selves or our faculties in His attributes so that nothing of us remains there, and these become sublime that is when we achieve the purpose of life.

AND if you LOVE Jesus and Mary (as mentioned in the Koran) do you also believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the Word Incarnate and the Alpha and Omega and the Lamb of God? What do you MEAN you LOVE them???

Hi friend Shaunm1963

Yes, I love Jesus and Mary like I love all the Messengers Prophets mentioned in Quran i.e. Moses, Moses’ mother, Noah, Jonah etc. They were exemplary personalities for the human beings; that is why they were selected by the Creator-God Allah YHWH as Models for humanity.

1. I don’t believe Jesus to be son of god, in its literal meaning; yes I believe that he was one of the persons whom the Creator- God loved.

2. Jesus was never a Word incarnate in its literal meaning; but in the meaning that all the Messenger Prophets fulfilled the purpose of the creations of human beings; in that sense all the Messengers are the Word incarnate; nothing special with Jesus.

3. In the same sense all Messengers are Alpha and Omega; in the image of the Creator- God Allah YHWH; and they fulfill the purpose of human creation.

4. All the Messengers have to suffer and make sacrifices in the way of the Creator- God Allah YHWH; they are all Lambs of God, nothing special with Jesus.

5. Jesus talked in parables; the sinful and deserting scribes and the Church did not understand the parables sometimes and took it literally; they carved myths from the parables, we don’t have to follow their mistakes unnecessarily for nothing.

The human society is and must be rational, reasonable and logical; it cannot live in mythical castles. It is for this that I say the Jesus of Bible is no more relevant in the West. Jesus and Mary of Quran are real and relevant for the West and hence they must be loved as their celebrities.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran; not the mythical ones as mentioned by the cunning Paul and sinful scribes in the NT.
