@ Sabio Lantz

I don’t agree with you.

You have mentioned a medical syndrome; by which you mean, if I have correctly understood, the symptoms and signs to diagnose a sudden illness. Now the symptoms don’t define the medicine.

Likewise the ethical, moral and spiritual symptoms of a person are cured by a religion; the symptoms don’t define the religion.

Religion is the path that leads to God or the beliefs that help one to know God; this is the history of the word from time immemorial.

Isn’t it?

The Path to Peace: Just Relations Between Nations

The Path to Peace: Just Relations Between Nations

Address by Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad(aba), Khalifa‐tul Masih V
at Capitol Hill, Washington D.C.
27 June 2012 (Video)

Assalamo alaikum wa rahmatullahe wa barakatohu,

All distinguished guests (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you all)

Before proceeding, I would like to first of all take this opportunity to thank all of you for taking the time to come and listen to what I have to say.

I have been requested to speak about a subject that is extremely vast and wide ranging.
It has many different aspects and therefore it is not possible for me to cover all of them in the short time available.

And the subject that I have been asked to speak about is the establishment of world peace.
Certainly this is the most vital and pressing issue facing the world today.

However, as the time is limited, I shall only briefly give the Islamic viewpoint on the establishment of peace through just and equal relations between nations.

Quran Verse [29:70]: meaning Seekers after Truth surely would find Truth

January 15, 2014

Quran Verse [29:70]:

[29:70] And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways. And verily Allah is with those who do good.
http://www.alislam.org/quran/search2/showChapter.php?ch=29&verse=69

One of my Atheist friends on another blog has cast doubt on the collection, compiling and preservation of Quran.

I quoted the above verse for the meaning and the reason mentioned in it; and I always do that.

One can, if one likes to, doubt its words; but if there is a reason mentioned in it and one finds it to be truthful; the reason should not be rejected just for the doubt in the literal text.

I think it is a general observation that one who strives and works hard for a thing, and leaves no stone unturned gets successful in the end.

I find similar sentence/writings in other cultures and religious scriptures of the world. If one searches one would testify to its Truth. It is full of wisdom.

One gets fruit of one’s labor to be sure. If one is not sure of one’s search one could never get into any scientific search/research.

For search in the path to reaching One-True-God; He has added assurance to the seekers; they should not be in doubt that they will fail; the honest search will be fruitful.

It is not a bad work to search; it is a positive step and is good for the individual and for the society.

Quran mentions in the very beginning of it while describing the merit and excellences of the believers/seekers:

[2:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
[2:2] Alif Lam Mim.
[2:3] This is a perfect Book; there is no doubt in it; it is a guidance for the righteous,
[2:4] Who believe in the unseen and observe Prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;
[2:5] And who believe in that which has been revealed to thee, and that which was revealed before thee, and they have firm faith in what is yet to come.
2:6] It is they who follow the guidance of their Lord and it is they who shall prosper.
http://www.alislam.org/quran/search2/showChapter.php?ch=2

The believers/seekers have to be open-minded; and they must confirm the Truth in other scripture as much as it is in them; and the corruption done by scribes has to be pointed out if there is found any. This is what I do; and this is what Quran teaches one to do.

With all the reasons mentioned above; if one still doubts the text of the verse [29:70]: then one should identify the person who wrote or added it to Quran; and give the reference of the Quran which did not contain this verse or with other text in the original Arabic.

The burden of proof is on such claimant/s; no compulsion however.

Truthful Religion always existed and exists even now

All religions have elements of truth. All religions are misinterpreted to cause harm to others as well. I think that is a pretty clear indication that a true religion has not been developed yet.

I don’t agree with you.

The Truthful Religion or the Religion in Truth has always existed and it very much exists even now; only the people don’t understand or they opt to politicize it and make it to look harmful to humanity for their own vested interests; like the Terrorists are doing “in the name of religion” or “in the name of God”; while they neither lawfully represent Religion nor the One-True-God (Allah Yahweh Aura-Mazda, Parmeshawara, Ishawara).

Religion is path that leads to the One-True-God; since God has always existed; so as long as the humans exist, the path leading to Him will also exist.

Buddha: Truth- mind when it walks in the path of righteousness

One should always strive to set one’s mind on the right path- the path that leads to the Truth. And truth is a name of the one true God.

Gospel of Buddha by Paul Carus

Buddha says:

Quote
“Is not man an organism of many aggregates? Are we not
composed of various attributes? Man consists of the material
form, of sensation, of thought, of dispositions, and, lastly, of
understanding. That which men call the ego when they say ‘I
am’ is not an entity behind the attributes; it originates by their
co-operation. There is mind; there is sensation and thought,
and there is truth; and truth is mind when it walks in the path of
righteousness
. But there is no separate ego-soul outside or
behind the thought of man. He who believes that the ego is a
distinct being has no correct conception of things. The very
search for the atman is wrong; it is a wrong start and it will lead
you in a false direction. 6″ Unquote

[1:6] Guide us in the right path —
[1:7] The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, those who have not incurred Thy displeasure, and those who have not gone astray.

The only path to spiritual life

December 3, 2011

Hank Kimball wrote:

Learning how to spot, admit and seek God for direction and removal of these obstacles in daily Life, IS THE ONLY path to a spiritual life and self- realization or God consciousness.

Paarsurrey says:

I agree with you there; and that has been expressed by the Creator God in the very first chapter of Quran. He has taught us the human beings, a perfect prayer to that effect. It is named Fatehah – the Opener of heart and soul for self realization, God consciousness and is the only path to spiritual life:

1:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

[1:2] All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,

[1:3] The Gracious, the Merciful,

[1:4] Master of the Day of Judgment.

[1:5] Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we implore for help.

[1:6] Guide us in the right path —

[1:7] The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, those who have not incurred Thy displeasure, and those who have not gone astray.

Has the Creator God created Universe for His enjoyment?

December 3, 2011

The Creator God has not created human beings for His enjoyment or His pastime. He does not get bored; boredom is a blemish for Him and is a human phenomenon only.

[21:18] If We had wished to find a pastime, We would surely have found it in what is with Us if at all We were to do such a thing.

http://www.alislam.org/quran/search2/showChapter.php?ch=21&verse=17

He has created us human being so that we may be thankful to Him for all that He has created and bestowed to us in the past and all that He can create and will create for us if we abide by his guidance, follow His path and fulfill purpose of our life set by Him.

This in other words is heaven for us.

“Doubt, truth and wonder in ministry “

March 20, 2010

http://newsweek.washingtonpost.com/onfaith/panelists/john_mark_reynolds/2010/03/doubt_truth_and_wonder_in_ministry.html

Hi friends

The above article mentions:

“Recently a study showed that many ministers don’t believe what they preach. They claim to know what they preach is wrong, but go on preaching it.”

One may think: Can a blind man show path to a blind man? If the pastors don’t know; how could they teach others to know?

It is so simple to understand.

God Almighty has indicated three types of knowledge:

1. Knowledge by certainty of reason,
2. Knowledge by certainty of sight,
3. Knowledge by certainty of experience.

This may be illustrated thus:

When a person perceives smoke from a distance his mind conceives that smoke and fire are inseparable, and therefore where there is smoke there must be fire also. This would be knowledge by the certainty of reason.

Then on a nearer approach he sees the flames of the fire and that is knowledge by the certainty of sight.

If one enters into the fire that would be knowledge by the certainty of experience.

Jesus had himself entered into the fire of knowledge of God that is he received Word of Revelation from the creator- God Allah YHWH Parmatma AhuraMazda.

Paul spoiled all the truthful teachings of Jesus based on Jesus’ experience mentioned above. Paul never spent any time learning from Jesus; so he had no knowledge of certainty. Paul was not even on the first stage of knowledge.

What Paul made up himself; it is enough that “Christians” have been following it blindly till now; but in the present era Paul and the Church have miserably failed.

The secular knowledge has uprooted the myth of Paul’s Theology invented by him at Rome. People don’t speak up and remain silent; but inwardly they have become Atheists and Agnostics.

Christian believers could only maintain their belief if they follow Jesus and Mary and don’t follow Paul and the mythical Church. Only Jesus and Mary could salvage their belief. The Atheists Agnostics are cognizant of the situation prevailing; and hence flexing their muscles to create wedge between the believers and Jesus- one of the perfect men that have been born on this planet Earth.

It is very appropriate time that the believers join in to reform Christianity and set it on to the path based on Teachings of Jesus and Mary and get rid of Paul and the Church to salvage Christians from the attack of Atheists Agnostics based only on doubt. They themselves name it “Skepticism” or path of doubt or devolution.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran.

Thanks

faith is neither a leap in the dark nor a blind-faith

“Substance and Strong Dreams…”

Pmespeak wrote:

Faith is a substance of hopeful Prayer and powerful Dreams. Faith is not a blind leap into the dark; believing in something just for the sake of believing; or for the sake of being positively hopeful.

Paarsurrey wrote:

Hi friend pmespeak

I agree with you. Productive faith is neither a leap in the dark nor a blind-faith. It is the consistent and steadfast path/way of the Prophets Messengers of the Creator- God Allah YHWH who were rewarded by Him by His Word of Revelation. In fact these righteous persons were the cream of humanity whose constant search for truth and prayers did bore fruits. The future of humanity and peace indeed rests on following these persons with confidence. Such persons came in all the nations and the regions of the world. We see that if Judea and Arabian Peninsula were enlightened with the revelation of Moses, Jesus and Muhammad; the Persia was illuminated by Zoroaster and the Cyrus the Great; China was guided by Buddha, Confucius and India by Krishna and now lately by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908- the Promised Messiah, the Second Coming of Jesus and the Imam Mahdi.

We should be guided by all these truthful persons.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran.

Thanks
