122nd Annual Convention (Jalsa Salana Qadian) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in India

PRESS RELEASE

122nd Jalsa Salana Qadian Concludes
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad delivers concluding address from London

The World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and Fifth Khalifa, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, concluded the 122nd Annual Convention (Jalsa Salana) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in India on Sunday 29 December 2013 with a faith-inspiring and powerful address.

The Khalifa addressed the final session via a satellite link from the Baitul Futuh Mosque in London. Over 17,000 people in Qadian attended the Jalsa, whilst almost 5,000 had gathered in London for the concluding session.

During his hour-long address, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad spoke of how God Almighty was guiding people towards Ahmadiyyat, the true Islam.

His Holiness said that many Muslims were “in despair” at the state of the Muslim world, but were unable to express their anxieties due to a fear of their so-called religious scholars, who he said were motivated only by their own selfish interests.

Nonetheless, there were many sincere Muslims who were praying for a Messiah and Mahdi to appear and Allah was answering their prayers by guiding them to the truth.

Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad gave both current day and historical examples of how people had joined the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community after seeing very clear, divinely inspired dreams illustrating the truth of the Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian. His Holiness said there were countless such “astonishing” incidents.

The Khalifa concluded by speaking of how the opponents of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community were continually attempting to stem its progress through their cruelties and aggression. His Holiness said their efforts would always be frustrated as the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community had divine support.

Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:

“Having witnessed Allah’s Guidance and Help, can we ever become scared or fearful due to the cruelties inflicted upon us by our opponents? Certainly not!”

His Holiness continued:

“Fourteen hundred years ago, Hazrat Bilal, tolerated all of the pain inflicted upon him, and responded only by saying ‘Allah is One, Allah is One’. And today, that example is a lesson to us as we face opposition and persecution.

It calls us to our real purpose, that in spite of these cruelties, we will spread the Oneness of God to the corners of the world and for its establishment we will never let our efforts, which are due to the Promised Messiah, ever decrease in any way.”

After his address, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad concluded the Jalsa Salana with a silent prayer.

“Nation of Islam” | Fard Muhammad,Elijah Muhammad and or Farrakhan: None of them is Messiah or Imam Mahdi

May 11, 2013

My  post #51 http://www.religiousforums.com/forum/3323198-post51.html on the topic “Another Man of Allah (God) *after* Muhammad (so says hadith)” started by Yahyaa Waahid refers:

I will some up the points of my some posts for friend Yahyaa Waahid here.

1. As per the principles of the interpretation of Hadith, Hadith should be interpreted within the ambit of Quran and not outside of it.

2. Nation of Islam people could not point out any verse of Quran under which their leaders claim to be a Messiah or Imam Mahdi. So their claim is just to be taken as a literary or a poetic-symbolic messiah, not strictly speaking of a religious Messiah, as sometimes a good doctor could be said to be a messiah by his patients.

They are social leaders of African people living in America; if they have uplifted their people from a low status to higher one and given them self-assurance, to that extent their services should be appreciated, and not out of that.

3. Even Sahih Hadith Muslim mentions that when the Messiah comes he would receive Wahee or Word of Revelation to guide him from the one true God.

4. The Messiah would be a successor of Muhammad and not a Christian; he will follow Quran and its commandments. He will bring no new teachings and will not cancel any teachings of Quran.

5. The Messiah will be a prophet messenger of God and an Ummati of Muhammad, a follower of him; he will be an Ummati Nabee, a follower prophet of Muhammad.

6. Since he will be guided by Wahee by God, hence, another title/name of him will be of Imam Mahdi.

I think the above do not fit on FARD MUHAMMAD,Elijah Muhammad and or Farrakhan, leaders of Nation of Islam.

There being no categorical and specific claim from them having been appointed Messiah or Imam Mahdi by express Wahee or Word of Revelation from the one true God and that is why you could not quote from him; it seem to be your general impression about them which has been found to be incorrect.

So Elijah Muhammad did not claim to be what you think he was. He never was.

I, however, respect the people of Nation of Islam as they say that they are Muslims and they believe in Quran.

Paarsurrey noted following hint words and syllables in the contents of the reply to the questions asked, in case of doubt, please hear the video and correct accordingly:

They believe Imam Mahdi, Messiah would come; we believe Jesus has come in the form of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, they believe that Jesus is alive and would come at a later time, they believe that a prophet cannot come yet they believe Jesus a prophet would come after Muhammad,

Can there be a subsequent prophet

http://www.alislam.org/v/607.html

Please start viewing the video, setting play-head position, for the relevant Q #8 @ 01:15:03 Ahmadiyya belief that there can be subsequent prophet who will retreated the message of the prophet with every new prophet; do you think there would be escapism in the Islamic religion there will be people who will accept the prophet and will not accept the prophet so the total number of sub sect that will develop by this philosophy will be twice the number of people who claim to the prophet so what you say about this? Its answer ends @ 01:15:03: the answer is only: 19.32 in duration.

Paarsurrey noted following hint words and syllables in the contents of the reply to the questions asked, in case of doubt, please hear the video and correct accordingly:

A subordinate prophet, cannot come unless the people are already divided in sects, to remove the schism with a purpose to unite them, Muhammad always said that the ummah will be divided in sects like Jews had been, unfortunate time will come when Quran will not be acted upon though the commandment would be there written in it, their Ulema would be like the beasts under the firmament, they will be personification of evil, when this has happened only then Imam Mahdi or Messiah would come for reunification, message that is given gains ground, this is divine prescription for the situation at hand, process of split is result of corruption, fighting a territorial war, appointed and selected directly by God is called  prophet, a leader in Islam raised by God, Jesus would be a prophet of God after Muhmmad (saw).

The points raised by “Mr.Nick T” in his commendable comments deserve to be appreciated, discussed and shared with the wordpress community. We both don’t like to debate; that is also correct.

Now we discuss another point from his post.

Nick T Says:

Quote :”To insist that the pope is not a true representation of the catholic church because he attempted to obscure the path of science, is to commit the ‘no true Scotsman’ fallacy

; without a legitimate living prophet to encourage scientific endeavour , the pope and clergymen, and the equivalent priests and clerics in other religions take the mantle as head.” Unquote

With regard to the Pope; I leave that to the Pope himself to reply; or those Christians who follow him. He surely does not represent other religions.

Paarsurrey says:

Now we attend to another point highlighted by me from your post “without a legitimate living prophet to encourage scientific endeavour”.

Fortunately we have Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908; a legitimate Messiah or the End-Times Reformer of all revealed religions of our era who has the honour to have direct Converse with the one true creator God. He did not oppose any legitimate scientific endeavour. He always encouraged to learn and to appreciate science and religion both.

One of his followers Dr. Abdus Salam – a Noble laureate Physicist was a devoted man of religion.

Mohammad Abdus Salam,[2] NI, SPk, KBE[3] (Punjabi, Urdu: محمد عبد السلام‎; Hindustani pronunciation: [əbd̪ʊs səlɑm]; 29 January 1926 – 21 November 1996)[4] was a theoretical physicist who, when he shared the 1979 award for his contribution to electroweak unification,[5] became the first Pakistani and Muslim to receive a Nobel Prize in Physics.[6]

Religion

Salam was member of the Ahmadiyya Community[102] who saw his religion as fundamental part of his scientific work.

He once wrote:

“The Holy Quran enjoins us to reflect on the verities of Allah’s created laws of nature; however, that our generation has been privileged to glimpse a part of His design is a bounty and a grace for which I render thanks with a humble heart.”[31]

During his acceptance speech for the Nobel Prize in Physics, Salam quoted the following verses from the Quran:

“Thou seest not, in the creation of the All-merciful any imperfection, Return thy gaze, seest thou any fissure? Then Return thy gaze, again and again. Thy gaze, Comes back to thee dazzled, aweary.”

He then said:

This, in effect, is the faith of all physicists; the deeper we seek, the more is our wonder excited, the more is the dazzlement for our gaze.[103]

I think it helps to resolve your point in the post.

Founder of “Unification Church” and his claims to be a Messiah | Reverend Moon | the Moonies

April 3, 2013

Question and Answer session with Hadhrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, 5 November 1995

http://www.alislam.org/v/607.html

Please start viewing the video, setting play-head position, for the relevant Q #1 @ 00:00:56 His (Reverend Moon) people claim him to be promised messiah, and he claims to be the second coming, how do you see the Moonie people and what proofs he should bring with him self of being promised Messiah? Its answer ends @ 00:08:51: the answer is only: 7.95 in duration.

Paarsurrey says:

While I heard the video; I wrote down some hint words or syllables for my own use on the subject. Now I want to share them with the viewers of my blog, maybe it is useful for them, so that they could have an idea about the contents of the answer. Please correct me where there is some mistake.

Hint words or syllables:

Moonie people,Reverend Moon, his claims are contradictory, different things have been attributed to Moon, at one time he claims to be a personification of Krishna, at other times he claims to be Jesus, he says Jesus failed to perform his mission, he has come to accomplish that mission, he believes in Muhammad a prophet who came to prepare groundwork for Moon, idea of sin, he says story of Cane and Able is to be repeated, through alliance with America and Korea he is to work against North Korea, it is movement which cannot survive as a religious community for long, he has been in prison in USA, he did not pay millions of dollars in taxes, Jesus was a innocent person, Moon is partly blemished, Moon was to come, he has earned some sort of fame and some sort of notoriety, in Britain more investigation about Moon is being made, maybe his real true image come out, secret information, guilty of a criminal offence.

Caliphate of Muhammad is a permanent institution in Quran

What is the basis of Ahmadi Muslims?I guess Muslims need to be stick to the teachings of both Quaran and Prophet Mohammad only. Paarsurrey says:

Hi friend andromida

The basis is well defined in Quran; the caliphate started after Muhammad got terminated very soon; and then slowly and slowly the true teachings of Islam got disappearing. Caliphate of Muhammad is mentioned in Quran as a permanant institution:

[24:55] Say, ‘Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger.’ But if you turn away, then upon him is his burden, and upon you is your burden. And if you obey him, you will be rightly guided. And the messenger is not responsible but for the plain delivery of the Message.
[24:56] Allah has promised to those among you who believe and do good works that He will surely make them Successors in the earth, as He made Successors from among those who were before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them; and that He will surely give them in exchange security and peace after their fear: They will worship Me, and they will not associate anything with Me. Then whoso is ungrateful after that, they will be the rebellious.

http://www.alislam.org/quran/search2/sh … p;verse=54

With Mirza Ghulam Ahmad the Caliphate of Muhammad has been revived. He is working under the titles of Messiah and Mahdi; and since Muhammad was for the whole world; and other religions are in a very bad condition; under his banner all the religions of the world are to be revived truthfully and peacefully.

So the basis is very sound and it has roots in all the religions; also the spread of no-religion needed his advent.

Thanks

If the Messiah himself were to return, he would fail to recognize the prevalent Christianity

June 25, 2009

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908, the Promised Messiah, the Second Coming says:

During the final battle
between guidance and misguidance in these latter
days, and finding the Muslims in a state of ignorance
at the turn of the fourteenth century [Hijrah] and the
beginning of the final millennium, God once again
remembered His Word and revived the Muslim faith.

Other religions were never so revived after the advent
of our Holy Prophet. Therefore, they all perished
and were deprived of spirituality, as a result of which
they were infested with a host of malpractices; just as
a piece of cloth which remains unwashed keeps gathering
dust. People who were deprived of spirituality
and were not free from the filth of the desire of their
baser selves interfered with those religions in accordance
with their selfish motives, and distorted them
out of all recognition.

For an example let us take the
case of Christianity whose principles were so pure
and undefiled in the beginning. Although the teaching
preached by the Messiahas was not so perfect as the
teaching of the Holy Quran, because the time for a
perfect teaching had not yet arrived, and human capabilities
were not mature enough at the time, still, in
the context of the prevailing conditions, it was the
most appropriate teaching.

It guided to the same God
as did the Torah. But, after the Messiah, the god of
Christians was transformed into another god who was
nowhere mentioned in the original teachings of the
Torah, nor did the Israelites have any inkling of such
a god. Belief in this new god disturbed the entire dynamics
of the Torah, and its teachings regarding
deliverance from sin and attainment of piety and purity
became corrupted.

Deliverance from sin came to
depend simply upon the belief that the Messiah had
courted death by crucifixion for the salvation of mankind
and that he was ‘God’ himself. Many other
timeless commandments of the Torah were also violated
and the Christian faith underwent such a change
that even if the Messiah himself were to return, he
would fail to recognize it.

It is most astonishing that
the people who had been enjoined to follow the Torah,
so brazenly flouted its commandments. For instance, it
is nowhere written in the Gospels that though the eating
of pork was made unlawful in the Torah, yet I [the
Messiah] make it lawful for you; or that though the
Torah prescribes circumcision, I repeal this commandment.

How could it be lawful to introduce into
religion what had not been uttered by Jesus? Nevertheless,
as it was inevitable that God would establish a
universal religion, namely Islam, it was the deterioration
of Christianity that heralded this faith.
