A Humanist/Atheist cannot reject Mirza Ghulam Ahmad without a valid reason

July 19, 2013

There has been an interesting discussion with Arkenaten who is a Humanist/Atheist on one of my post <“

“The universe constantly proclaims; there is one One who laid its foundation”

”>.
The discussion is given here-under.

Smile…this bloke was considered a fraud by many of your Muslim brothers, Yes?

As a humanist one has to see the reasoning and respect others. You agree with the reasons given?

.     Arkenaten Says: July 19, 2013 at 6:40 pm |

I dont ‘follow what you are asking. Can you rephrase the question please

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad gave valid reasons; they should either accept him or give reasons as to why they don’t accept him. Everybody should do that.

Well, I am not Muslim, and It doesn’t really bother me at all,but most Muslims said he was a fraud so I am assuming they believed they gave valid reasons.

You obviously disagree. Tough being a member of a persecuted sect isn’t it?

However, It’s nice to read that Islam has just as many dissenters within its ranks as all the other religions.

I think you should give your own reasons.
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad did not address Muslims only; he addressed everybody of all religions/faiths and those who have no faith- the Atheists.
He was a messenger prophet of the one true God even for me and you.

Thanks

Smile..if you say so. I never heard of him til I met you and then researched him.
Seems like .. prophet if his message from the one true god never reached my neck of the woods, or many other places, for that matter.
The responsibility of a prophet it to make sure the message gets out, surely?
I think your reasoning is very poor, my friend.

The responsibility of a messenger prophet is fixed by one who has sent him; it should not be your worry.

Am I right?

Now the message has reached you. Being a Humanist you cannot reject him without a valid reason.

Do you have a valid reason? I think you don’t have.

Jesus created nothing; he was no god

Hi friend sch

Now see my friend; how many prophecies of Jesus you have mentioned in your post (which I have described as ocean of words); I have counted them to be 25 in number, if not more. So that makes Jesus a good Prophet Messenger of Creator-God Allah YHWH and that is all.

It proves that Jesus was not a god. Had Jesus been a god; then you would have mentioned things created by Jesus? Jesus did not create anything; everything was as before him.

If you want to prove Jesus to be a creator-god; mention things he created; Jesus did not create anything. Please mention as many things created by Jesus at least 25 of them like Sun, Moon and Earth; not even one of these.

The sign- the biggest one of Jesus, was that of Jonah- the Prophet; not of any god or of the Creator.
I think, now you understand and agree with me.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran.

Thanks

Jesus never in fact claimed any deity in literal terms

Hi friend sch

I thank you for sending me an ocean of words , not on the topic , yet not quoting in your reply as I have asked you any verses from the OTBible or Torah where punishment for the claimant of divinity has been mentioned for Jews by Moses.

You may quote it now, if you like; there is however no compulsion.
So Jesus was a claimant of the office of a Prophet Messenger of the Creator -God Allah YHWH; and Jews tried to punish him as a false Prophet Messenger as mentioned in Deuteronomy 13 and Leviticus 24.
There is no punishment in Torah for a claimant of Divinity; so this was not a charge against Jesus by the Jews; Jesus never in fact claimed any deity in literal terms.

Jesus survived death on the Cross and later he migrated to India; and thus Jews failed in their designs and Jesus was proved a truthful Prophet of the Creator- God Allah YHWH.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran.

Thanks

Hello Paar, I understand your love of Jesus, Mary and Moses. However, about Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster and Cyrus, are you sure you are not violating the Quranic injunction?

Buddha particularly was an agnostic or a Deist who never really discussed about divinity and supernatural in his teaching. Maybe your answer will be that these people were originally prophets but their teachings interpolated over time period. Right?

How about Confucius? Do you love him too?

Humanity is but one family.

Paarsurrey wrote:

Hi friends.

Since Quran is a Word of Revelation from the All-Wise, the Creator- God Allah YHWH; He sent Messenger Prophets to all the lands of the world to guide the humanity to His path. Now that the world has become like a close-net village; all these Messengers Prophets have been honored by Muhammad. The truthful Revelations, deeds/acts of all these Messengers Prophets have been secured in Quran; and their role has been set by God to introduce their nations and lead them to Muhammad – the Seal of Messengers Prophets; Muhammad authenticates their truthfulness, under lasting principles mentioned in Quran.

I love Jesus, Mary, Moses, Moses’ mother, Krishna, Buddha, Lao Tse , Confucius, Socrates, Zoroaster, Cyrus etc great leaders of the world in Ethics, Morals and Spirituality; I love them all; this is the teaching of Quran/Islam/Muhammad as explained by the Promised Messiah 1835-1908. I think it has got a lot of common sense and wisdom; my Atheist and Agnostic friends would admit.

Idea of Jesus going to India

June 23, 2009

Phebes07 says:

I want to know, where you got the idea of Jesus going to India, please enlighten me.

Paarsurrey says:

Hi friend phebe07

You know I am an Ahmadi peaceful Muslim. I was born into this faith and naturally I ‎first read Quran. When one of my Catholic friends presented me a Catholic Bible; I read ‎it from cover to cover very intently. Late one of my Protestant friend presented me a ‎Protestant Bible, and I read it also.‎

I read books of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908, the Promised Messiah, the Second ‎Coming. He had written many books in which he has proved from the Quran and the ‎Bible that Jesus did not die a cursed death on Cross; as that would make Jesus a false ‎Messenger Prophet. One such book is “Jesus in India”. One may like to read it by ‎accesssing the following link:

I am fully convinced by his argumens and reasons.

I love Jesus and Mary as I love Moses and his mother.

Teachings of Jesus and Mary in Quran

May 6, 2009

Klosterman says:

Can you please tell me how Jesus and Mary are viewed in the Quran? Sorry for my ignorance on this….

Thanks,

Miguel

Paarsurrey says:

Hi friend Miguel

There are many places in which accounts of life and teachings of Jesus and Mary are mentioned in Quran. I just give here teaching of Jesus and Mary from Surah/Chapter: 19 Maryam/Mary from Quran:

[19:17] And relate the story of Mary as mentioned in the Book. When she withdrew from her people to a place to the east,
[19:18] And screened herself off from them, then We sent Our angel to her, and he appeared to her in the form of a perfect man.
[19:19] She said, ‘I seek refuge with the Gracious God from thee if indeed thou dost fear Him.’
[19:20] He replied, ‘I am only a Messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a righteous son.’
[19:21] She said, ‘How can I have a son when no man has touched me, neither have I been unchaste?’
[19:22] He replied, ‘Thus it is.’ But says thy Lord, ‘It is easy for Me; and We shall do so that We may make him a Sign unto men, and a mercy from Us, and it is a thing decreed.’
[19:23] So she conceived him, and withdrew with him to a remote place.
[19:24] And the pains of childbirth drove her unto the trunk of a palm-tree. She said, ‘O! would that I had died before this and had become a thing quite forgotten!’
[19:25] Then he called her from beneath her, saying, “Grieve not. Thy Lord has placed a rivulet below thee;
[19:26] “And shake towards thyself the trunk of the palm-tree; it will cause fresh ripe dates to fall upon thee.
[19:27] “So eat and drink, and cool thy eye. And if thou seest any man, say, ‘I have vowed a fast to the Gracious God; I will therefore not speak this day to any human being.’”
[19:28] Then she brought him to her people, carrying him. They said, ‘O Mary, thou hast brought forth a strange thing.
[19:29] ‘O sister of Aaron, thy father was not a wicked man nor was thy mother an unchaste woman!’
[19:30] Then she pointed to him. They said, ‘How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?’
[19:31] He said, ‘I am a servant of Allah. He has given me the Book, and made me a Prophet;
[19:32] ‘And He has made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and has enjoined upon me Prayer and almsgiving so long as I live;
[19:33] ‘And He has made me dutiful toward my mother, and He has not made me haughty and unblessed.
[19:34] ‘And peace was on me the day I was born, and peace there will be on me the day I shall die, and the day I shall be raised up to life again.’
[19:35] Such was Jesus, son of Mary. This is a statement of the truth about which they doubt.
[19:36] It does not befit the Majesty of Allah to take unto Himself a son. Holy is He. When He decrees a thing, He says to it, ‘Be!’, and it is.
[19:37] Said Jesus: ‘Surely, Allah is my Lord, and your Lord. So worship Him alone; this is the right path.’

Message of God revealed on Muhammad was like that revealed on Noah, Moses or Jonah etc before him

May 1, 2009

fgenej11 says:

After all Muhammad could have just made everything up to create His own religion. How do you know that what you said is true?

Paarsurrey says:

Hi friend fgenej11

Muhammad was a Messenger of God Allah YHWH; he was with a Message from God, which is in fact the revival of Message of God like that revealed on Noah, Moses or Jonah etc before him. The Message of the Messengers from God is deep rooted in the unchanging human psychology and cannot be changed by the Messengers as they are under direct supervision of God. Since the Message revealed on Muhammad is intact and similar to the Messages revealed before him or after him, so that vouches it to be from God and not from Muhammad.

The Message revealed on Muhammad is ever fresh and full of wisdom; it mentions both the claims and the reasons. It had the rational relevance with the time it was revealed and after that, and even at present times it has relevance with the present era. A human cannot author such a Message.

For instance, even on the topic of Jesus; the role model of Jesus presented by Quran has the relevance with the America and the West in the present era. Jesus of Bible is only mythical and presents an ascetic Jesus, neither a perfect human being nor a perfect god, having little guidance or relevance for the rational man of the present era. The Jesus of Bible has, therefore, become redundant now.

Muhammad never authored any Message or religion, his message is from God; one could check the truthfulness of it right now. Muhammad’s claim was only of a Messenger Prophet of God; he never claimed to have any divinity which rested with Allah. Muhammad taught and did what God told him; he was an obedient servant of God.

I respect your faith.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran.

Rome or India…he (Jesus) was just a man! (nm)

paarsurrey whitemunara says:

Hi friend kasey!

I agree with you that Jesus was a human being and not a god whether he lived in Judea or he later, after the incident of crucifixion in which he survived a cursed death, he went to self-exile to live in India.

Quran mentions this much clarity. I give some verses of Quran about him for my friends here:

[5:70] Surely, those who have believed, and the Jews, and the Sabians, and the Christians — whoso believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good deeds, on them shall come no fear, nor shall they grieve.

[5:71] Surely, We took a covenant from the children of Israel, and We sent Messengers to them. But every time there came to them a Messenger with what their hearts desired not, they treated some as liars, and some they sought to kill.

[5:72] And they thought there would be no punishment, so they became blind and deaf. But Allah turned to them in mercy; yet again many of them became blind and deaf; and Allah is Watchful of what they do.

[5:73] Indeed they are disbelievers who say, ‘Surely, Allah is none but the Messiah, son of Mary,’ whereas the Messiah himself said, ‘O children of Israel, worship Allah Who is my Lord and your Lord.’ Surely, whoso associates partners with Allah, him has Allah forbidden Heaven, and the Fire will be his resort. And the wrongdoers shall have no helpers.

[5:74] They are surely disbelievers who say, ‘Allah is the third of three;’ there is no God but the One God. And if they do not desist from what they say, a grievous punishment shall surely befall those of them that disbelieve.

[5:75] Will they not then turn to Allah and beg His forgiveness, while Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful?

[5:76] The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger; surely, Messengers like unto him had indeed passed away before him. And his mother was a truthful woman. They both used to eat food. See how We explain the Signs for their good, and see how they are turned away.

[5:77] Say, ‘Will you worship beside Allah that which has no power to do you harm or good?’ And it is Allah Who is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

[5:78] Say, ‘O People of the Book! exceed not the limits in the matter of your religion unjustly, nor follow the evil inclinations of a people who went astray before and caused many to go astray, and who have strayed away from the right path.’

[5:79] Those amongst the children of Israel who disbelieved were cursed by the tongue of David, and of Jesus, son of Mary. That was because they disobeyed and used to transgress.

So Quran does not eulogize Jesus. It is Paul who carved a mythical god from an imaginative Jesus, not the real and historic Jesus. Jesus carved by Paul from myths is not acceptable to the intelligent and rational America and Americans and the people in the West. Let America know the real and rational Jesus of Quran. What the American ladies n gents have to do with the ascetic Jesus who can’t solve their moral and spiritual problems?

I love Jesus so I would defend him against weird concepts of Paul.

Jews have similar views like Hindus, restricting revelation to their language and land only

September 10, 2008

Promised Messiah 1835-1908 says:

Pure common sense cannot accept the proposition that God, the Lord of the Universe, Who illuminates the East and West alike with His radiant sun and quenches the thirst of every land with the universal bounty of His rain, should be so miserly (God forbid!) with regards to the spiritual needs of man as to become partial only to one country, one people and one language. I fail to understand what logic and rationale it is that God the Omniscient listens to man’s prayers and supplications and understands him in every language, and He is not displeased with it, yet He abhors to make His word descend upon hearts in any language other than Sanskrit, the language of the Vedas.

This philosophy is found only in the Vedas like a well concealed enigma which no one, as yet, has been able to resolve. Personally, I consider the Vedas to be absolved of ever having displayed such a philosophy upon any of its pages, which not only goes against common sense, but also blemishes God with the allegation of miserliness and niggardly conduct. The reality is that once a long time elapses after the revelation of a Divine Book, the followers of that Book, either out of sheer ignorance, or as a result of some ulterior motives—by mistake or by intent—feel free to annotate the Divine teachings. Because these annotators are of divergent views, so, with the passage of time, hundreds of denominations are born out of one.

It is also strange that just as the Aryas believe that revelation has only been confined to the Arya kith and kin and Arya faith, and that Sanskrit has been specifically employed by God as His own language, so too the Jews have similar views regarding the chosen Children of Israel and their Books. They believe that the only language of God is Hebrew and the institution of revelation has been confined to the House of Israel and its land. According to them, anyone who claims to be a prophet of God while he does not belong to this House and does not speak their language is (God forbid) definitely a liar.
