Unity or ONENESS of the Creator God is the natural belief or default faith of humanity; when they get astray they believe in many gods or they altogether deny any gods; both are one the extremes; normalcy returns when some selfless and pure person like Buddha gets converse/enlightenment from the Creator God and gets the teachings of the middle path or right path.

#1  Buddha says:

“And the Blessed One said: “The Tathagata is like unto a powerful king who rules his kingdom with righteousness, but being attacked by envious enemies goes out to wage war against his foes. When the king sees his soldiers fight he is delighted with their gallantry and will bestow upon them donations of all kinds. Ye are the soldiers of the Tathagata, while Mara, the Evil One, is the enemy who must be conquered. And the Tathagata will give to his soldiers the city of Nirvana, the great capital of the good law. And when the enemy is overcome, the Dharma-raja, the great king of truth, will bestow upon all his disciples the most precious crown which jewel brings perfect enlightenment, supreme wisdom, and undisturbed peace.” 26

#9  This is exactly what Krishna did with his adversaries.

This tells us that all revealed religions in origin are from one source of the one true God.

#12   If the example or the metaphor did not fit in case of Buddha; he would have not spoken about it.

I don’t agree with you.

#19 As Buddha explained, please refer to the OP; Moses did the same.
So Buddha, Krishna and Moses tread the same path, the only rational and middle path.

All three are comparable. in my opinion.

Buddha had no characteristics of atheism in him

Buddha got enlightenment, self awakening or transcendental knowledge which is nothing else than the Word of Revelation or Message from the one true God; and thereafter Buddha preached the message and when he was nearing death; he told his followers to continue preaching the message with forbearance and patience.

I think only that person can preach who is not in doubt; with certainty one could preach.
I don’t think preaching is a characteristic of atheism.

For Buddha’s fervor with preaching please view Gospel of Buddha Chapter 47 titled “The Preacher’s Mission” Verses 1-11 Pages 127-128 by accessing the following link:

Gospel of Buddha:

“A middle path, O bhikkhus, avoiding the two extremes, has been discovered by the Tathagata–a path which opens the eyes, and bestows understanding, which leads to peace of mind, to the higher wisdom, to full enlightenment, to Nirvana! “9

Quran says:

[2:144] And thus have We made you an exalted nation, that you may be guardians over men, and the Messenger of God may be a guardian over you. And We did not appoint the Qiblah which thou didst follow, except that We might know him who follows the Messenger of God from him who turns upon his heels. And this is indeed hard, except for those whom Allah has guided. And it does not behove Allah to let your faith go in vain; surely, Allah is Compassionate and Merciful to the people.

The Holy Quran says Wa Kazaleka Jah alnakum Ummatun Wassatun (2:144) We have created you as a people who exercise moderation or you are a people of the middle path.

Hazrat Muhammad (SA) said:

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “The deeds of anyone of you will not save you (from the (Hell) Fire).” They said, “Even you (will not be saved by your deeds), O Allah’s Apostle?” He said, “No, even I (will not be saved) unless and until Allah bestows His Mercy on me. Therefore, do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately, and worship Allah in the forenoon and in the afternoon and during a part of the night, and always adopt a middle, moderate, regular course whereby you will reach your target (Paradise).” (Book #76, Hadith #470)
Sahih Bukhari.

There is another hadith .The best of the things is in its middle or it is best to exercise moderation in one’s affairs.

Buddha thought: “Hell is one’s own making”

Gospel of Buddha Chapter XII. ENLIGHTENMENT.

“Surely if living creatures saw the results of all their evil deeds, they would turn away from them in disgust. But selfhood blinds them, and they cling to their obnoxious desires.” 2

“They crave pleasure for themselves and they cause pain to others; when death destroys their individuality, they find no peace; their thirst for existence abides and their selfhood reappears in new births.” 3

“Thus they continue to move in the coil and can find no escape from the hell of their own making. And how empty are their pleasures, how vain are their endeavors! Hollow like the plantain-tree and without contents like the bubble.” 4

Paarsurrey says:

I think it is to similiar what is mentioned in Quran:

[3:118] The likeness of what they spend for the present life is as the likeness of a wind wherein there is intense cold which smites the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves, and destroys it. And Allah has not wronged them, but they wrong themselves.

Buddha’s enlightenment was real undoubtedly

May 15, 2012

Question: You are assuming that Buddha’s enlightenment was a real thing?

Paarsurrey says:

Yes, Buddha’s enlightenment was real, as with that Buddha got immersed in Truth; his fight against Mara or the Evil-One finished with that; and only at that stage he started telling people of his Middle Path he walked on to reach ONE- the Absolute Truth.

I think Buddha’s enlightenment was a real thing, undoubtedly.

Enlightenment of Buddha and Revelation of Moses: The Teachings they got

April 18, 2012

Question: What is enlightenement that Buddha got?

Paarsurrey answers:

Buddha believed in a religion which he got and announced when he got “enlightenment” after when he made Mara to flight from his self. I think by enlightenment he meant “revelation” like Moses got on the mountain.

Moses got enlightenment from fire (light) in the bush he saw on the mountain; Buddha got his enlightenment (fire) under a banyan tree;getting fire or light is getting teachings from revelation.

Buddha talks of his rebirth after attaining enlightenment

April 17, 2012

Buddha said:

“Having attained this higher birth, I have found the truth and have taught you the noble path that leads to the city of peace”.Page-118: Verse- 6 : Chapter-41

http://reluctant-messenger.com/gospel_buddha/

Paarsurrey says: Buddha here talks of his rebirth in truthful belief after getting enlightenment or Word of Revelation from the Creator God and getting Nafse Mutmainnah or” self in peace”, in my opinion.

This may be compared with Quran- 89:28-31:

[89:28] And thou, O soul* at peace!
[89:29] Return to thy Lord well pleased with Him and He well pleased with thee.
[89:30] So enter thou among My chosen servants,
[89:31] And enter thou My Garden**.

http://www.alislam.org/quran/search2…ch=89&verse=28

*or self
** or heaven

Buddha treaded the noble or right path and reached to enlightenment; this was his rebirth he talks of. Buddha does not talk of Reincarnation or Rebirth like the Hindus believe; he did not believe in the Hinduism concept of Reincarnation or Rebirth.

This is the same rebirth in one’s belief as did Krishna or Moses or Jesus got, in my opinion.

Enlightenment or Revelation from the Creator God in itself is symbol of rebirth in faith.
