“I have always wondered why Paul never sought out Mary?”

Jesus went out of Judea and out of the jurisdiction of the Roman Empire lest he is caught again by the Jews and hanged again. He took his mother Mary along with him. Paul must have known it; but he won’t tell it lest he is exposed.
It is reported that during Jesus’ journey to India, Mary died in the way towards Kashmir and is said to be buried at Murree, a hill station near Islamabad Pakistan.

The name Murree is after the name of Mary the mother of Jesus; one may Google for it and read so many entries on it.

Seeing apparitions of Mary and Jesus

April 18, 2013

I have noticed some Christians claim seeing apparition of Mary or Jesus. I have always wondered if they saw somebody, and I don’t doubt that they have not seen something, as to how they identify somebody as Mary or Jesus that appeared to them. How could they be able to recognize one whom they did not see while one was alive in one’s real life? Nevertheless; I never had such experience myself so it is quite natural that I cannot benefit from their private experience. We humans could share only reasonable and rational things a common tool of understanding between us; I think everybody will agree with me. More so because there are no standard features of Mary or Jesus described in the Bible; and those who claim to have seen them as apparitions also differ a lot.

I quote here from a Christian site in connection with Mary’s apparitions:

“The apparition appeared on the domes of the church for up to two hours or more at a time, always at night, but not every night and not at regular times. The Lady appeared in glittering light—so bright that her features could not be clearly seen—which streamed across the church. She was invariably preceded or accompanied by luminous “doves,” “strange bird-like creatures made of light,” which did not flap their wings but glided.”

Reason could benefit from Revelation; if it is in the original words and language (with its text and the context fully preserved); and if it was revealed on a human messenger prophet of one true God.

As to the Word revealed on Jesus and Mary; the above condition of reason and rationality is non-existent in their case.
In addition to the above the gospel writers or scribes wrote things with a purpose; Christians sometimes do mention it; that makes their writings biased; not fit to be trusted, in my opinion.

One has a right to differ with me; as do anybody else; I agree.

Quran is the living Word of one true God; NT Bible is a book of fiction

April 13, 2013

Jesus did receive word of Revelation from the one true God; but he neither wrote it down nor did he dictate it to anybody nor he authorized anybody to write it down on his behalf; the whole of NT is an unauthorized book in this respect. I don’t deny that all books of fiction do have some realities within their folds, literally or metaphorically; that is why people do attract to such fictional works, bible could not be an exception to these reasons, I think. I therefore respect it; but truth has to be spoken and unearthed.

Quran is Word of God revealed/descended on the heart of Muhammad under a ‎remarkable natural system, which no other “Book” in this world has ever had; and that ‎also proves that it is not authored by Muhammad; but it is from God Allah YHWH.

I would like to mention the way the ‎Quran was revealed and that would also dispel any doubts in the mind of viewers of this ‎discourse about Quran. The text of none of the sacred Scriptures, claimed to‎ have been revealed before the Quran, has been preserved intact. They all need to be respected though.

I want to quote here something about Quran:

Quote:

“They have all have been interfered with to such an extent that an
earnest seeker after truth finds it impossible to adopt any of‎
them as a practical guide for right conduct.
In contrast with
this, the text of the Quran has been preserved intact and every
word of it has come down to us as free from interference and
interpolation as when it was revealed to the Holy Prophet
one thousand four hundred years ago.‎
The Quran began to be revealed at the outset of the Mission
of the Holy Prophet.

The first revelation, comprising only a
few verses, was received by him in the Hira Cave. Thereafter
the revelation continued till his death. Thus the total period
during which the entire Quran was revealed extended to
twenty-three years.

We know, on the basis of the testimony of
his contemporaries, that in the beginning revelation came to the
Prophet at intervals and in small bits, but as time passed it
grew both in volume and in frequency till in the last years
of his life it swelled into an almost continuous stream. ‎
One reason for this, among others, was that the teachings contained
in this revelation were altogether novel and it was not easy
for people to grasp their full significance. Therefore the Quran
was revealed in small portions in the beginning. But after
the basic principles of Islam had been fully grasped and it
became comparatively easy for people to understand the teachings
and the topics dealt with in the Quran, the revelation began‎
to arrive faster and in larger volume. ‎

The object was that all
Muslims should be enabled fully to grasp the teachings of the
Quran. Another reason was that the number of Muslims was
very small in the beginning and, as God intended that the text
of the Quran should be scrupulously preserved and that it
should not become the subject of any doubt, only small portions
were revealed at a time in the beginning and there was always
an interval, sometimes extending to several months, between
the revelation of one group of verses and the next.

In this manner the few Muslims were enabled to commit the whole
revelation to memory, so as to place the matter of the preservation‎
of the text beyond doubt. When the number of Muslims
began to increase and the safe-guarding and preservation of the
text of the Quran became easier, the revelation began to arrive
faster.

Towards the close of the Holy Prophet’s life the number
of Muslims exceeded a hundred thousand and the memorizing
of the Quran became very easy. At that time the revelation
came faster still. By this divine plan the purity of the text of
the Quran was placed beyond doubt.

During the Caliphate of ‘Uthman seven copies of the Quran‎
were despatched to different parts of the Muslim world and they
in turn became the standard texts from which other copies were
made and thereafter in each generation hundreds of thousands
of people have been in the habit of committing the entire text
of the Quran to memory.

Even the bitterest enemies of Islam
do not allege that any interference with the text of the Quran has
taken place since the time of ‘Uthman. Those who seek to
raise doubts regarding the purity of the text of the Quran direct
their criticism to the period between the death of the Holy
Prophet and the Caliphate of ‘Uthman.

Whenever any portion of the Quran was revealed to the Holy
Prophet, he used to commit it to memory and, as he continuously
recited the Quran from one end to the other, he always
carried the whole of the revealed Quran at all times in his
memory.

I think it reasonably explains that the text of the Quran as spoken by God Allah YHWH ‎to Muhammad is secure without any doubt.‎
Quran mentions the essential accounts of life of Jesus and Mary; so the accounts of the Bible could be checked and purified in its light. Love for all; hatred for none.

One should not accept the contents mentioned above in blind-faith; one should accept them after due search and research.

There is no historicity of the Christian-God called Jesus

April 13, 2013

There cannot be any historicity of any gods maybe one call them Jesus or Krishna or Buddha or any human being they worship him as god or son of god or whatever other name for a human being they worship.

History is of human beings who live on earth; they are born and they die, so their history is recorded in the pages of time. God is neither born nor does he die, he is immortal; so there is no historicity of Him. When the historians deny any historicity of Jesus, they exactly mean the Christian-God, in my opinion.

As for the Bible (the NT); it is just a book of fiction, in my opinion, compiled by anonymous scribes with an ill-intention of carving a god or son of god out of the thin air. How could NT be a historical source of any much value?

Jesus so of Mary was a real person; not a fictional character; he was a famous prophet messenger to the Israelites. Yes; he existed.

History cannot deny Jesus son of Mary ; both perfect human beings.

Do Muslims believe Jesus Christ was son of God?

Question and Answer session with Hadhrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, 5 November 1995

http://www.alislam.org/v/607.html

Please start viewing the video, setting play-head position, for the relevant Q #3 @ 00:31:30 As I understand Muslims as a whole believe Jesus Christ was son of God, Why do you believe he was a prophet? Its answer ends @ 00:43:19: the answer is only: 11.89 in duration.

Paarsurrey noted following hint words and syllables in the contents of the reply to the question asked, in case of doubt, please hear the video and correct accordingly:

It is against the concept of God to bear children, half of the chromosomes from man and half from woman, God providing the needed chromosomes- the fluid passed into Mary, the species differ, God and creation there is nothing common, it would be horrifying thing, character in a metaphoric, Children of Israel are referred as children of God, status expressed metaphorically,

Faculty of reason: Faculty to receive Revelation

April 11, 2013

Man has been bestowed with the faculty of reasoning for guidance in ordinary matters though not equally to everybody; it differs from person to person. The same way man has been bestowed with the faculty to receive revelation from the one true creator God.

These two faculties make man specifically distinct from an animal. Adam got evolved and was better equipped with the tools of speaking, reasoning; he also got Revelation from the one true creator God and that was an epoch making event in human evolution and history.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad- the Promised Messiah and the End-Time Reformer of all religions explains this phenomenon:

Quote:

“As God has invested man with the faculty of reason for the understanding to some degree of elementary matters, in the same way God has vested in him a hidden faculty of receiving revelation.

When human reason arrives at the limit of its reach, at that stage God Almighty, for the purpose of leading His true and faithful servants to the perfection of understanding and certainty, guides them through revelation and visions.

Thus the stages which reason could not traverse are traversed by means of revelation and visions, and seekers after truth thereby arrive at full certainty.

This is the way of Allah, to guide to which Prophets have appeared in the world and without treading along which no one can arrive at true and perfect understanding; but an unfortunate dry philosopher is so much in a hurry that he desires that whatever has to be disclosed should be disclosed at the stage of reason.

He does not know that reason cannot carry a burden beyond its strength, nor can it step forward further than its capacity. He does not reflect that to carry a person to his desired excellence God Almighty has bestowed upon him not only the faculty of reason but also the faculty of receiving revelation.

It is the height of misfortune to make use of only the elementary means out of those that God has, out of His Perfect Wisdom, bestowed upon man for the purpose of recognizing God, and to remain ignorant of the rest. It is foolish to waste those faculties through lack of use and to derive no benefit from them.

A person who does not use the faculty of receiving revelation but denies its existence cannot be a true philosopher, whereas the existence of this faculty has been established by the testimony of thousands of the righteous and all men of true understanding have arrived at perfect understanding through this means”

Jesus and Mary did not need to wager for religion like Pascal did; they got sure knowledge of the one true God. People like Paul did not have this faculty; so they ventured and invented weird concepts and creeds of a new religion “Christianity- a misnomer” which was deviant from the path that Jesus and Mary followed.

It is for this deviation that people like Blaise Pascal, Christian Aplolgists, had to wager on religion; and had to cut a sorry figure against the atheists like Christopher Hitchens.

One of the many “Words” is Jesus Christ- the Son of Man/Adam/Mary

Would you please do it for me?

Thanks

P.S. The e-mail also bounced backed to me

Quran mentions Jesus as Word of Allah (G-d):

Verse (3:45)

The analysis above refers to the 45th verse of chapter 3 (sūrat āl ʿim’rān):

Sahih International[And mention] when the angels said, “O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary – distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah].

https://corpus.quran.com/wordmorphology.jsp?location=(3:45:8)

Quran also mentions the following earlier in the same chapter:

Verse (3:39)

Sahih InternationalSo the angels called him while he was standing in prayer in the chamber, “Indeed, Allah gives you good tidings of John, confirming a word from Allah and [who will be] honorable, abstaining [from women], and a prophet from among the righteous.”

https://corpus.quran.com/wordmorphology.jsp?location=(3:39:13)

It is very clear from the above that:

  1. Both Jesus and John were kalamatu(A)llah or Word of G-d, meaning their good tiding was given before their birth to Mary and Zechariah, respectively. And it is not a small sign. Right?
  2. Jesus is mentioned as Son of Mary, not as “Son of G-d”, obviously as G-d never had a wife named Mary.

Our Christian friends, needs to rectify their wrong creeds they have been given by the Pauline-Christianity. And Jesus never supported Paul, his associates or the Church. Right?

Regards

Mormons and JWs consider “Catholics and Protestant” as heretics. Are they?

You need to try harder Paar,

According to your own Quran :

[4:157] And for claiming that they killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of GOD. In fact, they never killed him, they never crucified him – they were made to think that they did. All factions who are disputing in this matter are full of doubt concerning this issue. They possess no knowledge; they only conjecture. For certain, they never killed him.*
and the reason they did not break his legs ?

John 19:36

These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken,”
Now if you spent as much time learning about the real Islam (ahmediya’s are not considered Muslims after all) as you do trying to discredit Christianity, you might be better served.

Hi friend wudjab

Well my friend; “Mormons” and “JWs”- the only true Christians, do consider the Catholics and Protestants as heretics. Are you a Mormon or a JW? Please mention so that we may proceed further in the discussion.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran

One expresses and declares one’s religion oneself; not others for one

Sorry to break it to you bud, but.

First of all as an Ahmediya, you are not even considered a muslim. So saying you are a “Ahmadi peaceful Muslim” is a bit of an oxymoron. I guess you missed the part about big Mo being the last prophet.

Also since you are weak on Islamic theology, I’d suggest you quit trying to pass judgement on Christianity. It just makes you look stupider than you are.. or maybe you really are that stupid.

Finally there is no such thing as a ‘peaceful muslim’. Muslims are peaceful only until they are forced to be.

Hi friend wudjab

Thanks for your “kind” words.

Was Jesus a “Christian”; I think he was a Jew. “Christianity” started with clever Paul, when he (Paul) saw no vision and made up the story that he had seen. Paul founded the Religion “Christianity” and named it cleverly after Jesus.

It is better for you to name yourself a “Paulist” rather than to say that you are Christian; though I don’t mind if you still say that you are a Christian. One expresses and declares one’s religion oneself; not others.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran.

Thanks again
