“Forbidden Fruit”
The First Commandment:
15And the Lord God took the man, whom He molded, and He placed him in the paradise to work and to guard it. 16And the Lord God commanded Adam saying: “From every tree in the paradise thou may eat food, 17but from the tree to know good and evil, eat not from it; and whichever day you eat from it, you shall die with death.” (Genesis 2:15-17)
Description of the Tree
6And the woman saw that the tree is good into food and that it is pleasing to the eyes to see and it is beautiful to perceive, and having taken of the fruit of it she ate; and she gave also to the man of her with her, and they ate. (Genesis 2:6)
The Consequence of Violation
9And the Lord God called Adam and said to him: “Adam, where art thou?” 10And he said to Him: “I heard the voice of Thee walking in the paradise and I feared, because I am naked, and I hid.” 11And He said to him: “Who announced to thee that thou art naked? Is it not that from the tree, which I commanded to thee this only not to eat from it, thou ate?” 12And Adam said: “The woman, whom thou gave to me with me, she herself gave to me from the tree, and I ate.” (Genesis 3:6-12)
Nothing at all is said that the fruit is apple which people refer to as the forbidden fruit.

You are right that the fruit mentioned in the Genesis was not apple. To me, it was the good teachings of GodAllahYHWH which by mistake they (Adam and Eve) forgot to remember. I am an Ahmadi , a peaceful faith in Islam

The News:
One will, perhaps, love to read the following:
“Holy War”: Is it Armageddon? with its ” Peaceful Version”! 1
One will be taken aback to note that Armegiddon/Armageddon is nothing like as one would have imagined or known so far. It is not to be fought with any physical and destructive weaponry and or the lethal arsenal of the day. It is peaceful and in fact, I understand, it has already started and it is sown like a seed!
It was a debate between the Pauline-Christianity (represented by Mr. Abdullah Atham) and the Second Coming 1835-1908 , that took place in Urdu language and was published then by the name “Jang-e-Muqaddas” in 1893 ( 22 May 1893 to 5 June 1893) in the then British India and has been recently translated and published in English by the name “The Holy War”:
