Belief in one God is the original position.

When they fall from the original position they resort to becoming mythical or superstitious and make many gods or they deny the one true God.

Belief in one God is the norm; it is the middle position or on the middle path.

Man has been created with a purpose of life; to that end God provided guidance through perfect men called messengers prophets; God conversed with them and told them about himself.

God could have different names in different people in their own languages with the same attributes; Allah, Yahweh, Brahma, Isana, Ahura Mazda etc. We find traces of such Converse in almost all regions of the world, even in the aborigines of Australia , America.
This is one true God.

Evolution of humans is with a purpose. When man reached a stage fit to receive express guidance from the one true God; man was bestowed Converse

with the one true God. “Adam” or whatever name of that human being in the language of the people; he was addressed by Him and told of that Being and His attributes.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

One could comment on the forum or here on this blog; my pleasure.

One Response to “Belief in one God is the original position or the Norm”

  1. Hank Kimball Says:

Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts on God, and man.
It is of serious consequence that God IS.
The idea that our Creator, being all powerful; creating ALL that we see, including we humans; could preserve His instructions on how to conduct ourselves; His purpose, Why we harm others and ourselves; why the world is the way it is; why we die; IS the bible really God’s instructions for living life? Why has he put the idea of eternity into our minds;? And so we recoil from the idea of dieing.
IS IT likely that this ALL Powerful Creator could preserve His Word IF IT BE HIS WILL? Does the bible address and answer ALL question concerning this and any other question about existence? OR is it more likely that man’s imperfection Has been able to ruin the message that HE, being ALL POWERFUL, wants us, who live NOW, to know??? The absolute truth is; if any person earnestly seeks God they will find God.
The bible actually causes a man to become more insightful into all matters of living. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; “All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work. ”
I have to say; the bible, I believe, doesn’t states that it is the only source of God’s Word. It might, but I haven’t seen it yet.
Again I thank you paarsurrey for your sharing and enthusiasm! Thought provoking dialogue is so very nice. I have never been one to engage in much ‘small talk’. If it isn’t conducive to living or pleasing to God, I am ill equipped. Dialogue that is. I am perfectly capable of displeasing God and harming life.
I like the idea that God doesn’t need saints; He wants workers.
There is more to that statement than one might consider.
If one is focused on ‘getting good’; one may succeed. Good for HIM. If one is focused on making themselves a slave in pleasing God by bringing the God News to others and being useful to them in anyway they can; that one will become morally upright, almost without consciously working on it; at the same time, he has been spreading the Word of God. That is what that statement means. Getting good is NOT the real point. It is to love God. If you love God, ALL else falls into place. I BELIEVE. Matthew 22: 37-38; “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’This is the greatest and first commandment. ”
I can’t resent when I love God. I can’t harm you when I love God.
I can’t be jealous when I love God. I can’t lust when I love God.
I can’t assassinate your character when I love God. All I can do when I love God is to love you, and be grateful that I AM. I can’t have self-pity when I love God. A grateful heart cannot entertain great conceits. I am completely undeserving of God’s love or forgiveness. I have used His love for my own gain so many times. I made sweet deals , with God,to get out of trouble, so many times. He ALWAYS kept His end. I NEVER kept mine. As soon as my neck was free from the “noose” , I forgot all about God.
