It is against the concept of God to bear children, half of the chromosomes from man and half from woman, God providing the needed chromosomes- the fluid passed into Mary, the species differ, God and creation there is nothing common, it would be horrifying thing, character in a metaphoric, Children of Israel are referred as children of God, status expressed metaphorically,

  1. Hank Kimball Says:

It is the ignorance leading to arrogance of man to simply assume extemporaneously that he can decide all for himself just who, what, when, where, why, and how God IS or ISN’T.

That is tantamount to building a rocket with no experience at all with science, never mind rocket science.
How is it that God becomes reduced to make believe status, without a second thought?

I use to think that one believing whatever they want concerning God, was me having an open mind and loving heart.

That people don’t find this alarming is the reason for the road to life being ‘narrow’.

There is a spirit creature that is the ‘ruler of the world’. It would seem to me that accepting any religion as acceptable to God would be in his best interest to promote. After all, oh how defensive the least devout person is concerning ‘their religion’. I believe Jesus had a name for those too.

  2. Hank Kimball Says:

Jesus wasn’t Jesus until the holy spirit caused Mary to become pregnant without having intercourse, and a baby was born to her and she named him Jesus; thus we have the ONLY ‘begotten’ son of God. Of course Micheal (Jesus) was the first of all God’s creations. EVERYTHING that was created after Micheal was created through Micheal, by God. There too is the ONLY son of God created by God directly.

How is that human beings, without ANY experience with being a spirit creature, devise guidelines for what it means to be a spirit creature?

Someday the reason for the arrangement of Jesus being the vessel through which God created everything will be apparent to some. It takes a great amount of faith to have not seen yet still believe that God IS. This is another reason why MOST people are not counted as living forever, in the bible.

The MOST important 2 questions for me were, one, IS there one true God? The second, is the bible the Word of God?

I found that reasoning with the scriptures with others that had much more experience with the bible, I was able to answer affirmative to both questions, to my satisfaction. The rest, and ALL the issues you have posed, have become an awesomely intellectually stimulating and spiritually uplifting and faith building journey in uncovering the answer to any questions my little doubtful testing human mind comes up with!

If I must, upon request, I will give all the scriptures to ‘back up’ the statements here. I just didn’t because I get the sense that my words aren’t read, and why waste energy. After all, I don’t need to have them quoted.

It is not correct that your posts are not read.
I believe that everybody has a right of difference of opinion.; we both have this right.

Your question: IS there one true God?

Answer:Yes; there is no doubt that there is one true God; but Jesus is neither a god nor a son of a god. He was just a messenger of one true God; like Moses, Jonah. Buddha, Krishna and Socrates etc.

Your second question; is the bible the Word of God?

Answer: in its original form; it was sure a Word of God; like OT Bible or Hindu Vedas; like Buddhist scriptures; like Yesna or Avesta of the Zoroastrians; but its present position is a very dilute form of the original Revelation.

But one could differ with me without any ill will.

      Thanks for your comments.
