I am born catholic but I am rather agnostic. However I admire the irreproachable life of Jesus, the sermon on the mount, the episode of the adulteress etc. I find christian myths, lovable, you know, Incarnation, Redemption etc, Jesus –Christ who makes a bond between God and man, God’s love for men, which is the root of love between men, etc. etc. These myths are an attempt to answer the great Mystery of the existence, of evil, of death, sufferings, and give hope to men. etc. This is a cultural answer. There are other cultural answers I respect, I understand and I love too, like Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, not in their superstitious expressions but in their high psychological, spiritual and philosophical views. Nobody should say that his religion is true and other’s false. Everybody should respect other’s religion. I don’t respect Islam because Islam does not respect other religions, because there is violence and fear in the Quran and fear is against love. Nobody can love someone he fears. Curses and menaces do not speak to our intelligence and our heart, to what is the best in ourselves. Curses, menaces,wars, killing, ennemies,submission, lapidation, beheadings, plunder, slavery, archaïc laws are not from God. Quran can’t be from God. These are the reasons why I reject and condemn Islam.

Islam is a very peaceful religion and respects other religions very much. The first sign of peacefulness and respect of other religions, in my opinion, is respecting religious heroes of other religion. You are a born Catholic, though later disillusioned about Christianity for some reasons and become Agnostic. Please quote any disrespectful verse in Quran about Jesus, Mary and Jesus’ disciples; not a single hate word about them you would find in Quran.
